Love the overall look and color combo. However I wish it had the recesses buttons and crown like the original. I still have my deceased fathers Pogue that he bought new in '73. Always loved the look of that watch. Gold dial of course.

Great video brother. Love the intro. While it may not be an exact reissue to the OG, at least there’s enough similarities for it to be a fun “close enough” modern piece.

Clearly inspired by, but not a Pogue. Though I’ve always liked the case of the Pogue, it’s just a mm or so too big on my wrist for my taste. I do have other smaller 6139s that are among my favorite watches.

Good try on bringing back the Pogue colours, but we all know there's really only one Pogue 😊 Excellent video good review 👍

Who doesn't love the Pogue! The iconic dial and case is awesome! I like the new version but other than the mustard dial I dont see much of the Pogue in it. I still think its an awesome watch though! Thanks for sharing Miguel! Have a great day man!

Wonderful review thank you. The smoke was my favourite also and I've had the watch for two weeks already, I'm 100% happy with the quality and the price for what you are getting, definitely worth opting for the open case back.

i had a 1960s explorer, but sold (for a hefty sum) it due to it's high maintenance cost ($500-$600 every three years). I'll take a Seiko movement any day. Rolexes are highly over-rated status symbols. Btw, my 1960s Explorer was purchased for $150 in 1984. That's about all it was worth. The Baltany looks cool, but I'm not crazy about the dial.

Have a Hamilton Khaki Field auto 38 and would like to add a green Seiko155 baby alpinist but I've heard the 6r35 movement is a hit and miss. Doesn't come well regulated from the factory. My experience with the H10 from Hamilton is 10/10. After 3 years +1second. My Sinn 556aRS gets +2 and my Junghans Max Bill 38 automatic +7. The only Seiko I own is a recent purchase Seiko 5GMT blue. Gets +10 seconds. Either way accuracy when it's + it's ok since I can hack it more easily.

I like the Nomos design aesthetic, but I’m pretty sure those 49.5mm lugs would overhang on the top of my wrist.

I think Nomos make some incredible watches for the money! I would love to add one to my collection... Especially that tabac colored one! They have an elegant and effortless style that few other brands can match. There is just something about an item that is designed and produced really well that sets it apart from the competition. You can tell that this was made with passion! Thanks for sharing man!
