My first thought.... "what an idiot"- Then I found out through comments he's actually an NBA player. Well, then that's absolutely fair!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if BDC can hold off everyone, but a lot of his great shots he hit yesterday will be tough to reproduce back-to-back. He has to be better tee to green if he doesn't want to blow it.

I have NEVER disliked watching a golf event more than this one. Putting shrubs in place of rough - native my ass. Putting in grad with heavy grain where putts bounce - my muni is better. Bowled greens that reject good shots - hah. Commentators who embrace this crap - charlatans. Players who are too dishonest to just reject this insanity - oh yeah, these are players who embraced LIV and Greg Norman’s evilness. A PGA tour that makes desks without consulting the players. A USGA that brags about how well they are managing the game while sending us to a pay streaming service to watch. Pinehurst suddenly becoming the cradle of golf - yeah right. I can tell you I will never spend the outrageous prices to play a crappy course.
@MoMoMyPup102 сағат бұрын
This was how it originally looked before modern golf design revamped it. It was redone after the last US Open there in 2014 to recreate the old look, and these players have never held back from criticizing a course, especially US Open courses

I think by fiddling with club making and experimenting them on real time tournaments is a new niche for accomplished players. For Bryson to 3D print his own clubs tailored for him and if he wins a major with it, opens the door for his Graduate school of golf club engineering. The wealth of knowledge he has because of the club head speed he can generate and the data he accumulated to develop the best club face for it, is the secret menu that everyone would like to know.

Screw him and all the LIV players - they get paid millions in advance - only play 3-4 events/yr, only 2 days per event (team Golf) , while PGA players bust their tail EVERY week, 4 days per event. It's not a level playing field.

screw em - he's gets paid millions in advance to appear at LIV events, maybe 3-4/year and only play for 2 days per event - while PGA players bust their tail every week, LIV players come in fresh - it's not a level playing field.

It’s painfully obvious these “journalists” hate KZfaq golf even more than LIV. It’s threatening to their existence. They can begrudgingly cover LIV, they are useless in KZfaq world. Rex is more like a fan that is just consistently wrong and blinded by biases. This was a pathetic podcast.

I've been been playing Cobra's f7 one length since thay came out. Watching the U.S. Open yesterday, one of the commentators said the reason Bryson can hit his wedges so far is because they have longer shafts and stronger lofts. What crap ! Let that announcer hit Bryson's wedges and see how far he hits them. Another player preparing for a fairway shot, "he better get his right shoulder lower so they're even with the hill". The player was on level ground with the slope rising to his left starting about 8-10 feet in front of him toward the target. He wasn't standing on the "hill". Just bitchin'.

Tiger Woods was an innovator as well in his day. Changing to a multi-piece golf ball before anyone else. Those with higher swing speed can benefit from nonstandard pro equipment, but it takes courage to do it.

This was an odd moment, but I think it's good for golf to have this desire to win and not be so buddy buddy etc...I remember Spieth being so friendly with Jason Day when Jason won his first major...it was really not competitive. I hope this sunday turns into a Tiger-like moment etc...we've not had this for a long time now.

I hate LIV, and with all that I'm rooting for this guy. He's simply what competition is about. How he's managed to keep this work ethic, and be on LIV I have no clue. But the control of his irons and the putting have been unreal. His driving isn't that impressive, ironically. Go Bryson!
