I just love how Chris wholeheartedly and unapologetically dedicated his life to climbing and in doing so created this wondrous and beautiful existence. It weaved and changed and brought him to different countries, cultures, humility, inspiration, non-judgmental, calm, at ease… he’s someone I’d very much like to get to know

I feel like when Dean died. It was the day the music died for Climbing. It wasn’t just him, but it was emblematic of a change in the culture that I don’t think we will ever return to.

I'm just so intrigued by Dean's dedication and vision in the way he climbed. It's really sad the loss of a person who I would have loved to meet and learn from. I'm glad to have the opportunity to experience him through this outlet. Rest in peace ❤
