What does it mean if someone is inferior to you? The word inferior can also be used as a noun to mean "a person who is lower in rank or status," in which case you might say to your younger brother, "You are my inferior, therefore you should take out the trash." Superior meaning: a person or thing superior to another in rank, status, or quality, especially a colleague in a higher position. "obeying their superiors' orders" What is the legal definition of superior? Possessing larger power. Entitled to command, Influence, or control over another. Does Superior mean top? SUPERIOR means 'higher', inferior means 'lower'. The head is SUPERIOR to the neck; the umbilicus is INFERIOR to the sternum. The HUSBAND is not BETTER than his WIFE. They need each other to function effectively. But just as the Head leads and controls the body, so does the HUSBAND leads and controls his wife. Then he said to the woman, “I will sharpen the pain of your pregnancy, and in pain you will give birth. And you will DESIRE TO CONTROL your husband, but he will RULE OVER YOU.” Genesis 3:16 The HUSBAND has AUTHORITY over his WIFE. AUTHORITY: the power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience. The WIFE must SUBMIT to her HUSBAND’S AUTHORITY. SUBMISSION: the action or fact of accepting or yielding to a SUPERIOR force or to the will or AUTHORITY of another person. Wives, OBEY your own husbands, as you OBEY the Lord. Ephesians 5:22 Wives, OBEY your husbands. That is the right thing to do, because you belong to the Lord. Colossians 3:18 Wives, accept your HUSBANDS' AUTHORITY in the same way, so that if some HUSBANDS refuse to accept the Word, they may still be won over without words by the way you behave, 1 Peter 3:1 HUSBANDS and WIVES are equal in Christ, but as we function in this world, HUSBANDS are the HEAD of their WIVES. But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and THE HEAD OF THE WOMAN IS MAN, and the head of Christ is God. 1 Corinthians 11:3 That was how holy women made themselves beautiful many years ago. They trusted God that he would help them. They RESPECTED THE AUTHORITY OF THEIR HUSBANDS. Sarah was a woman like that. SHE OBEYED HER HUSBAND, ABRAHAM. She called him, ‘My master’. So you wives also should do what is right. Do not let anything make you afraid. Then you will be like true daughters of Sarah. 1 Peter 3:5-6 Sarah humbled herself under Abraham’s AUTHORITY. Please be blessed

It isn't thinking about God that matters. It's implementing what he commands into the mundane that counts. ““One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.” Luke 16:10 ESV “If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 ESV ““Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?” Luke 6:46 ESV

" _Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new_ ." ~1Co 5:17 *What the heck does a vote in a US election have to do with this verse* ❓ What a guile and duplicitous way of using scripture to propagate his political slant upon a congregation. "All things become new"...means, make sure you vote⁉Oh, and vote _wisely_ so you can help evict _*Babylon_*⁉ As if God needs our help in doing that (see Rev 18:21). Obviously, he's insinuating that other bad guy candidate he doesn't like represents Babylon. Every time I tune into this guy, I'm reminded why I left this church. What do we call it when someone uses God's name for one's own agenda instead of _HIS_ agenda? " _Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain_ " ~Exo 20:7 The word for " _take_ " here is nâsâh; which means: to lift, advance, bear, bring forth, *carry.* So, this commandment is not about bad language, this is about ambassadorship. If you're going to take on the name of the King, to carry it, bear it, advance it, you'd better not do it in a vain way. Do it for His purpose, not your own. The word for " _vain_ " here is shâv' which means: desolating; evil (as destructive), ruin or morally (especially guile); figuratively idolatry (as false, subjectively), uselessness (as deceptive). Does this sermon use scripture, and thereby God's name in a guile and deception manner to create a political impression, a call to action in something not being taught in God's word❓ I mean seriously, does God really need your vote in the upcoming election so He can finally make all things new❓

patriarchy, like camels, deserts and romans in togas, is part of the backdrop of the bible not the point of it. pat is a result of the fall and jesus came to fix that. but there seems to be a great big divide between christians. those who believe in male hierarchy, that women should obey submit and be silent and never pastor or preach. But that is not God's will nor what the bible truly says. And it only took Jesus 3 years to teach the 12 disciples how to treat women. They were steeped in OT patriarchy but the saw how the Master treated women, protected, them, healed them, even talked with them. Jesus broke a lot of rules when it came to women. . And since God chose women to be the first to see and tell of the risen Christ it was important that these men believe what the women were saying. Because in those days testimony from women was not allowed. So by the time Jesus died and resurrected, and the woman came to tell what they had seen, 11 of the 12 believed, I think Jesus did a great job in preparing men for how important women would be in spreading the gospel. (Thomas, shame on you!)

I was raised Christian. I never took the Bible literally, the stories were just stories to help you understand things. Now, as an adult, I just can’t support it. I do believe there are those that use religion the “right” way and genuinely live kindly. But for so many, they misinterpret religion as a way of justifying awful behaviors, such as the oppression of non-believers. This woman claims you have to take everything into context. Well, one issue I have with this context is that prior to the spread of patriarchal religion, there were many cultures that reveared female deities too. When Christianity (and other religions) came along, women were painted as demonic, unbalanced, uncontrolled, witches, property, slaves, etc. This may have occurred in earlier cultures too, but patriarchal religion certainly catalyzed these beliefs. Based on my understanding, these founding religious zealots did not show any favor to women. Even the virgins they desired were not treated well, albeit less poorly than those who were seen as unclean/impure/possessed (i.e. disobedient or outwardly emotional/distressed/dissatisfied in some way, I’m assuming). It’s just crazy to me that women, especially, can buy into these doctrines. I understand in many other cultures, women have no choice but to obey. And we do live in a patriarchy here in the US, but we women still have so much more freedom to step away from these destructive beliefs here. We have access to the internet, libraries, higher education… and a quick google search will show you the hypocrisy and bigotry that makes the Bible what it is. I suppose that deeply ingrained fear of hell and a vengeful God has brainwashed people into thinking they’ll suffer for eternity for not obeying “god’s” word, having premarital sex, getting tattoos, smoking weed, choosing not to give birth to an unexpected (and unwanted) child (such as rape victims), etc. It’s just mind boggling to me. I still pray. To the universe, to my deceased loved ones. But I do not believe in a vengeful God, nor do I pray to a giant white guy in the sky. If humans can be capable of boundless and unconditional love, acceptance and patience with their children, why would God be any different? Wouldn’t he do it even better than we can? If this god loses his temper when we “disobey,” doesn’t that make him bound by earthly weakness? If that’s the case, why should I obey this weak and emotionally disturbed figure? If god made us all and makes no mistakes, then did he just make trans, gay, promiscuous people, etc so he’ll have someone to punish? Sounds like a psychopath to me. I am agnostic and have great respect for many Christians I’ve known. But I cannot support Christianity personally. As far as I know, the Bible and all its rules were dictated by violent, conservative, Caucasian, male bigots. As a black, liberal, female, that doesn’t sit well with me.

@PokeMaster03 In Revelation says that Jesus was a very, very dark skin man... As if his skin burned in a furnace... He is a so-called Black Man... The bible says all the Nations are going to mourn when they see him and fight him because they don't want a black man ruling over them...
