great haul. I have the Yoshimi Sekiguchi book but the cover has a different image. Mine has chapter 1 image with little girl in forest. I love Sara Burrier. She also has a cool alphabet book. I am working in the mermaid book. Your completed pics are lovely. I may have to get that enchanted creatures book. darn so much for a low buy month.

Hi! I was wondering, what's the Instagram/Facebook group where people are coloring the Alien Worlds?

I'm half and half on this book. Amazing background elements but zendoodle is not my thing at all, I really dislike it. I mean I suppose I can ignore it and just color it straight through as if it weren't there like you said. But wow the paper looks great and SINGLE SIDED! This is what I personally would want from every artist and every publisher and it's a shame we don't get too often.

I love seeing that early book that has not only your early pages, but also your daughter & cousin's. How wonderful! (I have a couple of books that my kiddo colored in at a younger age and it's such a great memory ) I've been working in the pocket fantasy faces this year and plan to finish it and I've finished Princess & The celebrate the holidays full size books, but i have some very uncolored books in the hannah lynn pile that this is reminding me I need to get out. Cannot wait to see what you do in Fierce & fantasy faces :)

I love the baboon page - how vibrant and unusual it looks! It almost seems alive and magical. I love its eyes, they look so real. Great page! And I admire that you took something that wasn't planned, almost like a disadvantage and made it work for you, turned it into a stunning picture. I also like bakunawa page! Great work!

I am in the alien worlds group on Instagram and it is so fun! Everyone is on their own journey in the group so there are no deadlines or pressure. We just share and encourage each other. All of your pages are amazing! Thank you for sharing 😊

Happy Catastrophe has the Aliens group. My ColorfulCountryLife has Worlds with in Worlds are a full book color along. I used those videos for most of my book, which I am 1 page away from finishing. I learned a lot that way. What waterbased markers do you use? The ones I have seem so dark for basing.

Thank you for sharing! Everything you did manage was stunning. I too understand that you need to be in the mood to colour his work. And not just that, but his "morphia" vs. "worlds" work are totally different things altogether. Keep plugging away at it and keep flipping through it. But no pressure! even if you don't colour in it, it makes for beautiful shelf art!

love the giraffe page and the elephant and the one u showed before the elephant love how bright it looks!! love the skull pages too i like the colors u used.the fish one too ok and the the other ones after hahah omgfg yes good idea for the other side of the tuscan page. i like doin things like that where i use a limited color palette and bring the colors to the next page !!huu love the page with the whale so far i like what u did with the light shinin on, the zebra one is pretty cool too huu and the eagle love how u stuck to american lookin colors of red white and blue, huu the red bird too. huu the werewold page i like how u did the sky so far, thats one of the page sive colored i think it was the first one i did.the sea dragon page too i like what u did!! love karens videos and agree shes super talented. i havent been coloring in my kerby rosannes books and any others for a long time now not goin to lie..but i recently got a witchy coloring book 3 in 1 and ive been coloring on it non stop with my markers which is good bc i hadnt used my markers in forever. it sucks that i can use my ohuhu markers on all other coloring books bc they have illustrations on both pages.thats one of the main reasons i havent colored in those books in a while plus idk i was gettin overwhelmed with how many pencils ive (ive the 150 set of prismas) and not knowing which colors to use etc specially since ive started watchin coloring videos that i feel more pressure about my pages looking good and gettin inspo for em. plus also coloring with pencils just takes longer and sometimes my hand hurts from coloring

Can you use an alcohol blender rather than the tombows I don't have them thanks for this video and demo it was great😊

Love Love Love this video. You make me want to pull out my Romantic Country Two and color some of those big outdoor scenes with inktense. You have so many amazing skies! Clouds seem to evade me. Also, I didn’t realize how many books Eriy has… someday, right?! I love how you are approaching R.C. 1 with the blue color. Great idea!

I also like the yellow wallpaper background. I hope you finish it as I would like to see how you “fix” it.

I have noticed the same about myself with books like that I have to trace and darken the line art and then color. Which is its own and different tedious and annoying process. Lol

Loved seeing all your completed pages. Your work is amaze balls, and I wish you would do more color alongs. You mentioned using Pinterest for inspiration for one of your pages. I would love to see a video of how you go about finding "inspiration" on Pinterest. So many people do that, but I have no clue where to even start. Thanks for sharing your art with us!
