I couldn’t believe that I grew my amaryllis from seed within ten days it had roots using this peroxide method. In twelve days it had top growth. So then I tried it with cannibis seeds that wouldn’t germinate in a paper towel method, they grew roots in two days in the peroxide water. Weren’t duds at all! So I decided to skip the instructions and take my apricot halo hollyhocks out of the fridge, two weeks early and just stick them in some peroxide water overnight. I sowed them on Monday and today’s Wednesday and they are beginning to sprout. Blue shrimp plant “same” Right now I decided I would do it with the lotus seeds. The passion vine seeds and sage which is how I stumbled on this video. ❤ I really truly cannot believe how quickly most seeds will root in a cup of peroxide water!

Vandas are my favorite orchids and I am ill when I see Francisco cutting them and throwing them. If the roots are good, there will be new growth from the remaining stems. But have HOPE and will follow the updates to see thousands of clones....
@PlantCellTechnologyКүн бұрын
Absolutely! With this explant, we are going to regenerate thousands of them. And it's great to see your love for the plant. We hated it too while cutting (becuase we love these plants) but we knew we would be multiplying it in so many of them. Have you ever tried TC?

Will the Biocoupler Bundle Work for Mini Sinningia/ Gesneriads? Or should I find a different liquid media mix to use with PPM?
@PlantCellTechnologyКүн бұрын
For different plants, the type and concentration of hormones vary. So, you should definitely try to customize it. The biocoupler works wonders for the multiplication and rooting stages, so it would be best to use it.

After doing the multiplication media in the biocoupler, do you then do rooting media in the biocoupler and then after that, transplant to the fluval stratum? Or do you go from the multiplication media directly into the fluval stratum? Thanks!
@PlantCellTechnology7 күн бұрын
We move for rooting and then acclimation. However, for some species, rooting is performed in the fluval stratum. So, it's based on the type of plant you are working with. Like, some plants root readily in Fluval Stratum, while others benefit from a dedicated rooting medium. So, research the specific needs of your plant.

When making multiple media recepies. Can I use dye to identifie them without harming the plants.
@PlantCellTechnology10 күн бұрын
Using dyes to identify different media recipes in plant tissue culture is a common practice and can be done without harming the plants if appropriate dyes and concentrations are used. Here are some tips to ensure that the dyes do not adversely affect plant growth: Choose Non-Toxic Dyes: -- Food Coloring: Often used because it is safe for consumption and typically does not harm plants. -- Commercially Available Tissue Culture Dyes: Specifically designed for plant tissue culture and guaranteed to be non-toxic. Use Appropriate Concentrations: -- Dilution: Use dyes at low concentrations to avoid any potential negative effects on plant growth. Start with a small amount (e.g., a few drops per liter) and observe the plants for any adverse reactions.
