Sir, my sgpt increased to 266 after tb medicines and than my doctor prescribed me ursocol 300 twice a day and kept tb medicines continued after one week it dropped to 235 and he stopped the tb medicines for 1 week but after 1 week of stopping the medicines it again increased to 263. Sir is it normal to increase sgpt sgot even after you stop tb medicines? All my liver functions test except sgot and sgpt are still normal. Sgpt sgot were also normal before tb meicines. Sir my father is going through eye tb. He has no tb germs in his lungs and he is taking tb medicines from last 3 weeks but in his monthly report his ALT sgpt is 266. The doctor has prescribed him with ursocol 300 mg twice a day. He also added that if it doesn’t reduces sgpt level than we will have to hold the tb medicines for some days. Sir will it affect the tb treatment if the doctor holds the tb medicines? Will it become drug resistant? It would be very kind if you reply.😊
