I traveled back to my home town about 10 yrs. ago. I currently live in GA, and I rode my motorcycle back to the town I grew up in back in AR. I had always said that, eventually, I would go back "home". It was then I realized that the "home", where I had so many wonderful memories, no longer existed. It was a small town to begin with (pop. less than 1,000). The "downtown" consisted of a main street that stretched all of 3 blocks and consisted of about 20 businesses. When I arrived, 1/3 of the main part of town had been completely demolished and the majority of the rubble was still there. The only remaining businesses I could recognize was a drug store, a barber shop and the bank, Everything else was either shut down, or had completely changed. The house I grew up in had been demolished and was replaced with a more modern house and my great aunt's house across the street was completely gone (as was the pecan trees that were in her front yard, and the huge oak tree in ours. The old school was also gone and replaced with a much smaller and more modern one. I have outlived all of my relatives (other than my wife, my son, a brother, and some distant cousins). And I haven't seen my brother or the cousins in over 10 yrs. now. None of them live anywhere near my hometown any more. The only evidence I found of my childhood friends and their families was their burial plots at the local cemetery.

You gotta grab snapper's shells behind the neck and front of the tail! they can bite you if you grab 'em by the sides! Also, don't pick 'em up by the tail like some do. It can damage their spine.

Seneca Falls used to be an incorporated village from 1831 to 2011. It was dissolved on December 31, 2011 and is now a hamlet & CDP. It is, to date, the largest New York village ever to approve dissolution.

It's strange, when I carry a GUCCI bag that I can buy in kislux , no one can tell whether it is genuine or a replica. Do I still need to spend a lot of money to buy genuine?

Haha! All the runners to the ship 😂 I’m so nervous this will be me! Speaking of which: when the itinerary says you’ll be at a port until 6pm, does that mean you have until 6pm to be on the ship? Or is that when the ship leaves and you need to be on the ship 1/2 hour-1 hour before then?
@ComeAlongWithMia
@ComeAlongWithMia 11 ай бұрын
If it says a 6pm port time, then you need to be back on the ship by 6pm at the latest. I prefer to get back a little before, so I don't stress myself out!
