When you don't want a companion to go to any settlement, just exit the selection menu. That will send them either to their default location where you first encounter them or to a quest location. But it only works if you never assigned them to any settlement before.

Hmm. 🤔The mod author could add more buttons to compensate for the issues mentioned. A) One to spawn more support gunners, 1 at a time, up to an appropriate number. B) One to reset the base and support gunner AI's to friendly in case of friendly fire. C) One to clear out dead NPC's D) One to kill off extra NPC's and reset combat AI in case weirdness starts happening from spawning too many. E) Perhaps one to reset the simulation altogether.

Bit weird for F4, but far from the weirdest mod Rascalart has made. And MI armor isn't good because, well, they're expendable grunts! Waste of armor! Come to think of it, I'm not sure what it is supposed to protect from. Bugs pierce it, plasma basically ignores it, tank bug melts it. Wouldn't be surprised if it's just some sort of flak amor, against ballistic and shrapnel.

DO NOT touch the terminal that requires a key with console commands or you will bork the whole quest chain you are on. If you want to make ammo at the ammo bench, collect every pencil you see, easy and light source of lead. Also, you should REALLY be picking up every Cutethulu doll you find.
