Hey man, could you share the total width of this armchair, include the arms and backrest. The site says it is about 5 feet. Is that correct. Apologies if you don’t have this chair anymore, as I realise this video is 9 years old.

My hoses are arriving now for the front brakes... thank you!! You guys ROCK! Because I did not watch your video until now, I have a good backup set of pads, rotors, calipers, and a MB cylinder, just in case LOL ... full disclosure, last time I changed front pads, I used a teethed vice grip to clamp off the flex hoses, and they've been dragging brakes ever since... who knew a crushed internal flex hose would act as a check valve!! Live and learn (I hear every ASE mechanic in the world laughing hysterically) - GTG, Amazon just delivered the lines! To all of you Almost-can DIY'ers like myself, be safe!! :) Follow-up: After pumping brakes with front off the ground and the wheels not spinning clued me into the line holding pressure...answers again why I couldn't bleed them yet there was no leaking... anyhow, on to the story: Brake lines done, flowing on both sides like honey from a beehive in the middle of August :) and OMG, drives and stops like it's on RAILS! It hasn't felt this good in both forward AND braking power in YEARS. Thanks again, fellas, GREAT JOB!! You saved me lots of aspirin! - Mine: 2016 JKU 75th ann. 106Kmi

My steering has a shudder when I drive it slowly. I noticed by my pedals one of those u joints that are on what I believe to be the intermediate shaft is missing the nut on one end. Could this be the reason for the shudder?
@HomeOwnerRepair51 секунд бұрын
I am not sure, but if the intermediate steering shaft is missing a nut I wouldn't drive the vehicle until it is fixed.

New oils still in the bottle and the old stuff is right there in the catch pan and in the old filter. Quicker and easier and it doesn't make a difference

I dont see how that’s stuck you got it out easy mine is a larger plastic holder I can’t get it out even with excessive force I don’t want to break it is probably stuck cause of heat and dirt over the years.

If it wont come out of park, its most of the time a shift lock solenoid or your brake light switch.

I put a piece of poster weight cardboard over the rubber soundproofing. Like using a bit of cardboard as a shoe horn, it made it much easier to slide the blower out and then back in by stopping the rubber from bunching up as the motor flange dragged over it.

I was driving on interstate and lost power could only go 55 the rest of drive home. When we made it home she wouldn’t turn over again…bad belt killed the alternator?
@HomeOwnerRepair3 күн бұрын
The broken belt wasn't turning the alternator to recharge the battery on your way home. I would replace the serpentine belt and recharge the battery then see if it turns over for you.

Personally, for me, having new lights that have parts of them that need to be run to the fuse box is stupid. Then you have a bunch of wires all over the place. I'd prefer just plug n play.

I did not catch the torque specs for the 3 x 13mm bolts for the hub, nor the torque for the 2 x 15mm caliper bracket bolts. Only got the 155ft/lb for the CV axle nut. Would be nice to list the torque specs for all bolts you touch, in the video description. Also, having grease on the bolts that hold the wheel seems a little out of place, and I mean any kind of grease on those 5 bolts. Other than that, awesome video. Like you said I wish all hubs would come out that easy.
@HomeOwnerRepair3 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching. You would have to look up the torque specs for the other bolts.
