What is the Purpose of The Aux/Pilot Contacts ? like in a 480V 3phase 4W application, what would be the purpose of the aux/pilot contacts if any ? can you give a real world example or provide links to such ?

Our operators burn out these plug pins every 6 months. 5.5kw motor. Good in theory...
