I use notion with just toggle and checkboxes for personal notes. And OneNote for work. I tried to use databases/tables etc but those actually slows me down. A clean empty page is the best productivity system. All you need is an online note app that is accessible from multiple devices and has a fast text search.

Way i always see it, don't look for hatd problems, look for simple solutions. If you cannot explain how you did it to someone else without them getting confused, especially in CS where in the real world your solutions will definitely be seen and utilised by others, you need to rethink it.

If you already know Python then use Python, if you want to pick a new language, use C++

Overall good advice. In general I try to tell people to never start coding before you know exactly what you’re going to write. Trying to write code and figure out the solution at the same time never ends well.

@SiddhantDubey19 күн бұрын
Yeah there are different types of indexes that make the search time much quicker, there's actually a good blog series: www.pinecone.io/learn/series/faiss/, explaining how stuff like this works in much more detail than I can.

@@JanisMisins-vb5coSo brother in Christ, what I don't get is why would you sugar coated your words? I don't see any insult in that guy's comment. He is genuinely care unlike you giving false hope in the name of Christ? I for my self knows how hard its being a dev and its taking a lot of my time.
