We are three years further now, how did the dog progress? I hope he is not overweight from all the rewards!😅

When using treats for training it's good to try to subtract calories given in training from their meals. That's why giving healthy treats is important! :)

I've just got one of these for my kitten, he bites the deep holes to try get to the cat food biscuits... he seemed to fail pretty miserably at feeding with those, so I'll be trying the wet food there instead and dry food in the easier to eat spot to see how he gets on. Freezing the food also seems like a good idea, I might slowly invest in buying a few of these so I can freeze a few at a time and it's easier to give to him and he can chip away at it overtime.

You would have to ask the JW Pet as they make the ball; we just use it to make the dog. But the balls do come in assorted colors.

This was fun to see! I do most of my training sitting down. I'm a HP handler; I use a rollator (walker on wheels) to ambulate but even with that I am painfully slow and tire very easily. I've found my dogs to be very responsive to chair handling. Our trouble is most likely to come in a trial when I'm on my feet presenting a picture they rarely see! Thanks for sharing this, Tara!

What amount of time for each 'sequence'? What type of treats do you use? This was a very helpful video. Thanks
@CleanRunAgility2 жыл бұрын
Hi Ruth, Nancy just posted this reply on Facebook so I'm copying it here in regards to the treats. "Jay eats raw so I have to freeze it first then cut it into small pieces. I also use "fresh pet" small dog food once in a while. I do have to use some cheese mid summer when the yellow jackets are around unless I am out training VERY early morning or late night."
