I see in the comments section that some blame the late Dr. Landy for Brian never being quite the same as he is in this interview. I fully disagree. Somewhere between this interview and 1980, Brian Wilson had changed drastically and that’s why Landy was brought back in. I remember Brian saying in an interview once, his biggest regret was taking acid because it tore his head off. There is plenty of footage on KZfaq that shows Brian performing in 1980 and 81 and he is completely off the rails. Somewhere between this interview and just a few short years later, he obviously got into some very heavy Drugs that left him permanently scarred. Dr. Landy salvaged all that he could in bringing Brian back physically and mentally. I’m not saying that Landy didn’t cross the line and taking advantage of Brian financially.. however, after Landys departure, Brian again went downhill with putting on weight and never being as confident as he was under the baton of Landy. Again, there is plenty of footage of Brian performing in 1980 and 81 and that is before Dr. Landy was brought back in.

Do yourself a favor relax and watch Dylan in Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. Great movie and Dylan, again, does not disappoint. The soundtrack he wrote is very underrated.

One of my enlightened song, how does it feel to be on your o we n, nobody taught how to live on the street but now you got to get used to it. You never came around to see the clowns and all the tricks they played for you. How does it feel to be on your own like a 🥐 Ng stone

This is GOLD. Thankfully I did get to see Bob & The Band at MSG 2 years earlier but I wish I had the chance to see him in a smaller venue like this. I had a buddy when we were in our teens back in the early 70s, who with me, we were the big Dylan freaks in SHeepshead Bay Brooklyn. We used to lock our other friends in his bedroom and not let anyone out until they heard Desolation Row, Visions.... and other classics over and over until they admitted they loved it. This would take 2 or 3 hours and several bowls of Colombian weed. WHat a blast.
