I love the idea with the ironing board and not taking them off the rod, but when she showed the back hemming, I just didn't like how that came out, even though it was nicely done in the front, the back looked terrible. My curtains need to be placed in an area where we constantly walk in and out, the hemming would come off after several movements and the back will show when you walk in. Imagine when you wash them in a dryer too.

It's a shame that this video doesn't have as many views like other tips videos. A lot of these tips are really useful. I have been using many of these tips for some time now, but had I known about them from the beginning then my treatment would have been easier from the start.

Great video with so many facts and information from someone who grew up in the wonderful town of Stonehaven and has the surname Ramsay as my family previously ran the shop you referenced in the square. Now live in the USA so your production ideal to share with anyone I am trying to explain the unique qualities of Stoney

Hello, thank you very much for your video. Is it possible to make another one guiding students regarding renting as a student. I’m planning to start my studies this September but rent scams are scarring me as I am an international student.

Start looking now at renting. There's plenty about but some are marginally worse than others. It's a great Uni, my son is graduating and has enjoyed his time there, get whatever job you can get then aim higher 👍🏻

What is the importance, if any, of having one piece of thread for the length of an entire seam - as in a pant leg? I find it difficult to “wrangle” a long length of thread. It always gets tangled or makes an unwanted knot. Is it okay to sew an entire seam length with smaller pieces of thread or does it have to be one?
@EmmaSandy
@EmmaSandy 5 ай бұрын
Smaller lengths sounds good to me! Easier to make it neat and probably save time overall with less untangling knots 🪢 😄

Ahhh, finally a tutorial that shows how to hem curtains in a non-permanent way, no cutting, sewing machine or hem tape! I live in an apartment with baseboards and I will absolutely want my curtains back to their proper full length for one day when I have my own home, so I didn't want anything permanent that would require me to re-purchase down the line. Your tutorial showed me every step & question I might've needed answered and you've helped me so much, thank you!
