You can’t KO an out of time card because once you play it out of time activates and you no longer have the card to KO Also unless I missed a ruling last I knew you still played a card from the VD with Dooms tactics or in this case Brainstorms rare. It wasn’t till into the cosmos where they added in the text not to play a card from the VD with Cosmo….i may be mistaken tho

Awesome channel content - like to watch your playthroughs. I have had similar experience in playing true solo vs Volt Fusion - never managed to win with personal best getting the boss down to 3 life. Won first time playing two handed solo, though, with Caleb and Reshi. It was still far from easy, but being able to output 5, 6 or even more damage per turn makes a world of difference...

Shopping Spree can be used in multiplayer to help other players get their cards, and Cell Phone is also more multiplayer oriented. She seems good but per usual the precon is kinda bad Edit: oh and disguise is basically there to make it possible to clear Shopping Spree in one shot

I think you made a mistake at the 29:05 mark when you took 3 silver for both the wall and the gate. Page 19 under “Connecting Walls and Gates”, paragraph 2 states “If a player built both the Wall and Gate, they only gain the reward once, not twice.” Also below that in example “1”, it is further clarified. Other than that, I think you were perfect. Best playthrough and explanation of this game I have seen.

That first game was rough with those stupid psionic ghosts (probably the most annoying card in his kit and there are like FOUR of them!).

Nice Video! But i got some concerns. Healing at 6 is such a waste. You even had a healing potion... Also you are wasting your potions in fights were you just don't need them. Try saving them for elites and the boss. Skipping Seek or Electro for Core Surge just seems wrong. You could even have got Seek upgraded by the Astrolabe. Also not upgrading Loop should be considered a crime...

Just play this game yesterday and this morning. Mixed feelings about this card game, rulebook, cards interpretations, they attack each other together even if we have to deal 7 phases. I begin to think that Tower Defense is not my kind of mecanics, especially this one, we can’t destroy level 3 tower but they can destroy our castle???… On the other hand, art is really nice. Good playthroughs! Curious to see how precon decks go. I saw some mistakes if that helps next time: In the first one on 5:05 and 8:50 Star piercer removing all health from a minion still counts as a destroyed minion letting you draw a card. That would helped with card draw early In the second one you need resolve each lane completely before going to the next, so the fight effect on the echoed sabateur would go off on both lanes on on 26:08. And on 44:40 the 1 damage on the minion wouldn't happen because that fight effect was after second lane resolving.

27:40 once you get domino setup she is just a beast. So much damage potential!!

Hey Waris, great video. I wanted to answer your question regarding Ashes reborn. It is published in the LCG model. So, just like MC, there are packs that come out. The Red Rains stuff is not isolated, any of the player cards that come in those sets can be played in the competitive game. The only thing that wouldn't transfer would be the chimera decks (the AI boss). The easiest way to get into the game is to grab the core set and the first Red Rains box. This will give you everything you need to play solo, coop, or competitive. Let me know if you have any other questions. I've been playing the game for a long time, and would be happy to help. the thing is you need to play multiple times to get better at the game, and i find that slay the spire the board game main appeal is the multiplayer mode. How often can you bring it to the table ? i think that will determine if the game is for you i really like the game but then i though about all the setup and how many times i can get the same people to play and realized that its better if i just play digital solo

I think with the scheme twist it would shuffle the sentinel ones back in the deck as well. Also the scheme says all sentinels get plus 1 per sentinel upgrade so that would be sentinel masterminds and sentinel one
