Cool.. i bought a sonicator yesterday, for this...😊

Hello Stephen. Congratulations on your sonicator purchase and let us know if there is anything we can help with from our side. If you plan on making nanoemulsions with it, make sure your machine can reach the appropriate amplitudes (not all ultrasonic systems can output high-enough amplitudes). More on this in the following video - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rMmigKiTv93ehYk.htmlsi=hBUfBokMDfBDQvDR.

Sorry, after spray drying, the particle size is no longer in nanometer range. The so-called nano-powder is unscientific and misleading.
@IndustrialSonomechanics3 ай бұрын
@AY-ej6py The powders created with our ultrasonic equipment and NanoStabilizer-LSO reconstitute into nanoemulsions with droplet sizes similar to those present in the original nanoemulsions before they were dried. Your drying method should not affect that in the way you are describing it. If you are using our ultrasonic equipment and NanoStabilizer-LSO, please contact our support team to troubleshoot your process.

@@IndustrialSonomechanics Thanks for the reply. Drying methods do matter. Nano spray-dryer, not conventional spray-dryer, is needed to produce nano-powder. It is only available at lab scale and very expensive. You may want to revisit the technology.
@IndustrialSonomechanics3 ай бұрын
@@AY-ej6py It's important to distinguish between "powder grain size" and "size of the oil droplets" that are dispersed within the solid matrix (the oil droplets which were nano-emulsified before the water was removed). In our earlier comment we were referring to the latter. You can spray dry the LSO-based nanoemulsion into a powder or use another drying method and have a solid, and those oil droplet sizes will not change. Take a look at the 23:00 min time stamp in this discussion regarding out recent D8-THC PK study for some details on our water-soluble powders method - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a-CVdcV5m5jFZ2Q.html. Another one here - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/grBkaqyYld_RiWg.html.

You really have your talking points down, Alexey! This was nearly identical to your NECANN presentation. It was interesting to hear that you sold to ~300 companies last year. Are they they return customers or new clients? I'm also curious what the breakdown is by scale of equipment provided and projected monthly volumes of production given amount of nanostabilizers 🤓 At some point could you speak to the method for stabilizing terpenes? Thanks a lot, always a fan, Jared K

You should have a process video where you actually demonstrate the process of the experiment phase. For example, having a video of a scientist talk along with the actual process of weight out 5 grams of nanostabilizer along 1 gram of let’s say FECO. Seeing the process will inevitably have people come for your stabilizer solution. Then showing the actual sonic action, the filtration, and the finished byproducts caused by the experiment. Overall, leasing to a conclusion of the the data observed!

This blog post (scroll to the bottom) shows some calculations (input and output materials) - blog.sonomechanics.com/blog/nanostabilizer-simplifies-producing-water-soluble-powder. The concentration of the desired bioactive (CBD, THC, etc.) in the powder will of course vary depending your raw material (these kinds of calculations we can help with).

I have been following you for some time now and I am convinced that you hold the future in your hands regarding the consumption of cannabis while maintaining good health. The future will probably also teach us that just the plant itself can reveal many more secrets, such as just how to grow it... Plant specs will be different from one grower to another and itself even if its the same genetics that it grows. So, the product being extracted will obviously have differences. Later you will probably learn how to extract each of the many different elements that this plant contains. I even think that the production methods will be done accordingly to the elements desired to be removed from the plant and the same thing for the many models for the extractions. Have is only at the very beginning of a beautiful story and you are at the forefront. I wish you great success in all your achievements.

That looks like Distribution of carbon black in water. Dispersion is much harder to do and prove. The carbon black could easily still be (and likely is) in agglomerates of hundreds of primary particles. Separating fine particles takes a lot of energy, not enough here to do that.

At about 3:35, the degassing becomes markedly violent - what is happening to cause this? Has a setting changed in ultrasonic equipment?
@IndustrialSonomechanics Жыл бұрын
Our processors operate in the constant-amplitude mode. Once the amplitude is set, it will always remain at the same level. The power provided by the generator is automatically adjusted based on a principle similar to that used in the cruise control of a car, where engine power output is increased when going uphill in order to maintain constant speed (amplitude, in our case). When volatile fractions are degassed from the oil, its properties abruptly change: cavitation enters into vacuum-bubble regime instead of gas-filled bubble regime. This leads to higher power draw for the same amplitude and, therefore, results in much more violent cavitation. Sometimes this power jump is used as an automatic method of determining the end of the degassing process.
