I tested this workflow, the best way for me was to crop the images only to the element you want to enhance. Even if the rest is totally white, Magnific can disperse a bit of its AI power. If you crop the image it will focus more on the interested area

wondering why these upscalers don't work as well with interior renders ( except chaning some basic things like towels etc. ) Any interior is turned into video game, plaster is usually repeating, wood looks rustic. Makes me wonder if they have scraped gaming libraries :D

I see what you mean, for interiors like you say it can be useful for certain things. Like fabrics, which can be tough to make look realistic. But when it comes to one-click magic, it's not that. I would love to see a select object and enhance, kind of like what we did using the masks.

@@sauravspillai8000 from my personal experience ( don't know maybe I'm just very good :D ) I rarely replace more then 2 materials on big public hi-end spaces using magnific. On D5 marketing videos they are using boring 'IKEA' interiors. Problems start when you have brief on 20 pages just on 1 room. These AI tools are not a magic button. Quite often they make some materials worse then they were before.

What about if the object is a proxy from COSMOS, the Modifier doesnt allow you to use that ! any clue ?

Yes you can apply it to the proxy, and you can select a proxy too

@@jakedenham Yes, but I meant the part which you show at 6:07 in the video. I tried again with another footage and it's even worse. this time there is only one Null imported and it is in the middle of the grid. It moves with the grid and not staying on the road. Maybe I do something wrong in AE.
