When im asked who my favourite artists are, i say Gregory Alan Isakov is 1 of them. The response is usually the same. They dont know who i am talking about, is this because i live in the UK? The lyrics are always full of meaning and wisdom and sang from the heart. Hope to see the band live some day 🙏

My favorite part about this video is that you hear the usual bar room chatter at the beginning but by the end you can tell everyone is wrapped up in the moment! Gregory is an absolute genius at that! Amazing!

I love that he loves this song, and wants to sing it. I, too, think this song is magnificent in every facet of its composition. So when I want to enjoy it, I'll listen to Sam perform his song, because this is not it.

i love the enthusiasm of a crowd, but are the people who attend his concerts cut from cookie cutters? exactly the same hooting and hollering at every one it seems. like... are they drunk? seeking attention? think theyre cowboys/girls? i dont get it
