I dont like the fact that riverside does not provide different layouts DURING the actual podcast. You cant change the views between you and your guest to make it more fun, appealing and keep it interesting. Even when you edit the video, you can only choose ONE layout. You cant change the layout in another other part of the clip for a different layout. That sucks. I even tried splicing the video and changing the layout and NOPE still stuck with the same layout. This is coming from someone who just changed from streamyard because of the high quality but I think im going back to Streamyard 1080 because riverside has way to many restrictions and I hate people are not talking about it or telling people the truth.

Which one did you use to record this video? Your audio and video were not synced. It's almost like a voiceover done after the video? Or was it recorded with video but had a sync issue?

Hi Have you used EzyCourse instead of kajabi/thinkific? I have found Kajabi, thinkific similar EzyCourse. They are affordable, user-friendly, and packed with a Facebook-like community, group chat, private chat, built-in marketing systems and other features, and even a white-label app! also have seamless membership options.

Hi, Thanks for this really informative comparison. Do any of the solutions you reviewed include local recording of video and audio on the various local machines in a multi-guest or 1+1 scenario? I am planning to do interviews in areas which have fairly sketchy internet services, so the ability do do a file transfer for post-production purposes would be really useful. Any tips for this? Also, is it possible with Ecamm to have a silent guest who pulls the production elements together but is excluded from audio and video contribution?

Hey Sean! Yes, E-Camm allows you to setup recording so that you record the Program feed (what's on screen) along with separate audio and video feeds of all participants. I had the same desire to have lots of options in post-production and E-Camm provides the best suite of options IMHO. And, yes, you can add someone to remote produce (here's a video on how to do that: kzfaq.infoC8L3EoV3nJo?si=rgNdR_7AtdwbBiEC). If you end up deciding E-Camm is for you, I think they are running some end of year promo's and if you could use my affiliate link it really helps to support my channel - www.ecamm.com/mac/ecammlive/?fp_ref=rosshero Hope this helps!

According to Ecamm's website, you can have up to 10 remote guests: support.ecamm.com/en/articles/4487302-ecamm-live-interview-mode . Are you thinking of using Ecamm for something specific?

Hi Jamie, Ecamm has a setting that lets you set a delay for your audio. I don't believe that exists in the other two tools but, in my experience, I never had an issue with that in Riverside or Streamyard (and I used a lot of different setups)

I just want to ask: Does the number of likes and comments on different contents (on the same page) by the same viewer contitutes different engagements? For example i viewed a video and commented 5 times, does my comments would contitute 5 engagements? 2nd example i viewed 5 videos and commented on each video, would that count as 5 engagements on my comments?
@TricycleCreative
@TricycleCreative Жыл бұрын
Hi Harold! Comments (and all engagements) are calculated in totality with no distinction if they are made by the same viewer/user. In your first example, your comments would count as 5 engagements on that video. In your second example, each of the five videos would report one engagement. You can do some simple math with social and web analytics by dividing your engagements by reach (or unique users) to get your Average Engagement Per User. Does that make sense?

Yes, cause if anyone knows editing tips it's the dipshits whose musical audio is louder than his dialogue audio from the get go of his video. Really half assing it and taking such pride in being awful. Useless generation.

Terrific comparison. But, you kinda missed the best point of Riverside. Separate audio and Video recorded by each participant cuts out the internet. All uploaded to the cloud and then you have more control. If, you want to deal with it in post. Looking forward to a phone meet with you next week. Chuck
