I really enjoy my eco boost. But the fact they removed the v6 hurts. The v6 has been around since the beginning. Even if the first one had the strait 6 as the base model engine option. Why they removed it I’m not sure, but the ecoboost definitely won over the race sadly. But i would still buy the v6 if I had to.

It was marketed at retired boomers and salesmen , its not a high performance street / strip like a C8 is

For 2015 and 2016 you could get the power seats and fog lights as an option. For 2017 there was no options but auto or manual and color...maybe wheels.

Why get the V6 when the EcoBoost is faster, sure it sounds better than the EcoBoost. It's about going fast.

As soon as I saw the dashboard, I'd of walked away from that one. I have a 2012 XF Supercharged V8 Portfolio Edition. Worst car I've ever owned! $1,300 water pump, $2,000+ for a computer, $1,400 fuel pump, $380 trunk release/lock. At 80k miles it now needs new motor and transmission mounts. I had a 03 S Type it was one of the best cars I'd had so buying the XF seemed like a good idea! I was WRONG! Trading ASAP Will never buy another Tata!

The driver door check is loose, it will eventually tear through if not fixed. They can be repaired with two fender washers.

You need to read your manual, there is a trunk button in the back near your license plate read your manualwill tell you where it is

It’s a great car 🚘 I have a 2010 XF. You should buy one with low miles if your looking for a used model. Like any car the less miles the better.

They definitely made trunk space a priority. But I'd trade it for a little more gas tank, rear leg room and a full size spare tire instead of a donut. I also think it should get better gas mileage than it does. It started out getting the same MPG as my '03 745li with a 4.4 V8. Now that I have 22's on the Taurus the mileage is significantly under what I got in the Beamer. I'm still enjoying the car overall, but I did underestimate the difference in going from a RWD V8 platform to a FWD V6.

Mine has a 19 gallon tank. I just traded my 2010 Taurus in for a 2018. I had no problems with mine in 8 years.
