How many acres did you get done? What's your header spacing and width. I can calculate acres by assuming 235 per but not exactly.

jack trenary almost 100%. It's not green so it's really hard to chuck corn out the back of a Lex. They have an amazing amount of cleaning area.

Would I be correct in assuming that the farm would contract out the harvest rather than owning something like that setup for use only for a short time every year. Or would several farms pool equipment?

Huw Bishop depends on how deep their pockets are. Here the big guys trade every year. Mid sized ones every 3-7 years, and the smaller guys less often.

Interesujące jest że maszynę wycofano z produkcji.. napiszę o konstrukcji tego produktu gdyż jest przerażający. Claas wymyślił w quadrant 3400 hydrauliczną komorę wstępną i wciągania materiału do komory prasowania. Zastosował w konstrukcji dwa siłowniki hydrauliczne które wykonują łącznie pracę ponad 11 tyś całkowitych skoków na godzinę. To jest 3 skoki na sekundę. Jeszcze jedna ciekawostka to zastosowanie na jeszcze innym siłowniku hydraulicznym odpowiedzialnym za pomiar ilości materiału w komorze wstępnej, złącza diagnostycznego do kontroli ciśnienia w siłowniku, który w każdym quadrant 3400 pęka od drgań i dochodzi do całkowitego ubytku oleju hydraulicznego około 40 litrów- można powiedzieć że claas produkując 500 sztuk przez 10lat, rozlał 20.000 litrów oleju po polach-super ekologia. Ogólnie maszyna bardzo wydajna ale też bardzo awaryjna. Największy konstrukcyjny idiotyzm jaki spotkałem. Wstyd dla claasa!!! Powinni wypłacać odszkodowania za użytkowanie bubla.

Depends on the use. Some around central Illinois is harvested “wet” at 25% because it goes to ADM for corn starches or sweeteners. The other is used for livestock feed
