The reset wires should not be wired into the Ethernet keystone. The reset wires should be wired back into the reset switch or sealed up separately to keep them from touching. If the reset wires are connected together it will cause the camera to reset non stop.

It sounds like your brown has a matching black wire, maybe brown-black? If that's the case then the brown-black and brown wire have to be wired to the reset switch. If you don't have the original reset button you'd need a momentary or push switch as a replacement.

Did the cable you ordered come with different colors or did the 810A have different colors? If the 810A has different colors it may be set up differently. If it's the cable that has different colors you may have to use the Reolink cable for reference to keep everything the same.

Depending on how long the water has been sitting, you may be right in that it was fried. If it had been working, even with some water damage, cleaning the board with isopropyl alcohol sometimes helps prolong the camera's life.

Just fixed a RLC520a with this as guidance, didn't have luck with a keystone jack due to it being cheap garbage, so crimped a RJ45 connector at the end with some struggle (used some spare wires to fill out the empty spaces) and got it working in the end using a keystone module with RJ45 sockets on both sides. Thanks!

Will the cameras work if you insert only the active strands of cable?

I'm using a Pi4 with the LCD board and a cheap amp (with 2 speakers). Do you have an idea of how I can wire the switch to the amp or any other alternative?
@octaviocastellanos9196 Жыл бұрын
I think you should be able to solder a connection to the LCD board's volume up and down buttons, then make a connection to the volume up and down pins on the volume connector. Check out this video, it might be helpful: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rs-bg5SbzLbZeI0.html Also check out the pictures in this ebay listing, you'll see that the seller soldered the connection on the menu board: www.ebay.com/itm/154203782465 Hopefully this helps. I haven't tried this out myself but I have bought that item I listed and used it for my countercade mod.

I upgraded the firmware on the nvr pero nada.. is the keystone jack wired in the same way as the rlc cameras?
@octaviocastellanos9196 Жыл бұрын
They keystone should be wired similarly on the B400 & B500. Before opening the camera I would try an alternate Ethernet cable if you haven't already. I'd also try the camera on a router instead of the NVR just to rule out the NVR being the issue. Just a heads up. I've experienced similar situations and the camera just ended up being a dud that had to be replaced.
