Great video. I love the hummingbirds. The utility garden could use more blue even though I love red and pink flowers. The bugs were yucky. However, I love all the gardens this year. Great job!❤

Good Afternoon Lady! That is a Nelly Stevens Holly. They have hellaciously sharp needles on the tips of their leaves! They're hard to work around! If I had it to do over again, I would not have planted them on the edges of our house; but instead along the property lines. They grow very fast and would make great screening plants. They grow up to 3 feet per year. Ours get pruned 3 times a year. Hth!

Good video! I did some research on using the essential oil concentrates, fun results if you want to talk about them. Have to have the extracts to work, just like you said, not the plants themselves!

Good Morning Lady! Thank you! I cut back some of the spent flower blooms, only as a matter of personal preference. To make the plants look better. Birds love to feed on their seeds, so I left quite a few. I mentioned that during the video. I was conflicted! Lol! Thanks for watching my videos, liking, and commenting! 🥰

Just recently did a soil sample of a clients garden where I just put in 4 new David Austin roses and they all died (thankfully DA has a 5 year warranty on their roses). The soil sample came back saying the soil needed elemental sulfur. Will be adding this as well as the same bare root roses in the fall. Great video sharing with others this process. ❤

Hi Lady! It depends on the plant. My annuals get a harsh pruning 2 - 4 times a season. My perennials get pruned at either beginning or end of a season. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

The front of the house is beautiful. I love the gardens. It’s a lot of work. The potted plants are nice too. They look good even if you never plant them in the ground. I’m waiting for the test results to see what’s going on too 😊
