I have a question ⁉️ I will admit that I have only listened to Voddie Baucham a handful of times and not even attentively because I play YT videos while I'm driving, sleeping, cooking, etc. Olay but with that here's my question: How can someone who adheres to Calvinism and the 🌷 Tulip (doctrines of grace) Preach the true Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ? I'm not trying to criticize Voddie bc out of all the Calvinists, I believe he is the closest to the Truth but still..... Calvinism is another Gospel and NOT the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So I guess I don't understand why VB aligns himself with a false Doctrine of Demons. Again, I'm not saying anything but that Calvinism is Error. Calvinism teaches that you must be regenerated in order to come to faith in Christ but that's not the Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ. So.....? I am a 53 yo woman who escaped the Error of the hyper Charismatic Pentecostal crap way back when I was 15! I was not saved until I was 42 but at 15, I knew that what I'd been hearing at my family Church couldn't be true! I'm not a Baptist bc I believe in the Gifts of the Spirit even for today but it was my Sunday morning visits to my neighborhood friends Churches that helped me realize my Church seemed chaotic. (No order). As a 53 yo, I know that the Baptist are Saved and many Pentecostals are Saved but are teaching "their Grace" Instead of the Gospel. I believe Calvinists are not even as safe as A Baptist or Pentecostal bc Calvinism has completely replaced The Gospel with a systematic version of what a demon taught. Calvinism is not different than the Catholic system in it's denial of the True Gospel.

I worked for a Calvinist fundamentalist for a year. He treated me like an animal, because I wasn't one of the "chosen". Calvinism is equivalent to Islam.

I am not proud about having a mental illness. I do not boast about it. I do not know if I have a chemical imbalance or not. All I know is that I have suffered from depression for most of my adult life. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. People who have never experienced depression can never comprehend what it's like to be afflicted with it. The brain is an organ, just like the heart etc and things can and do go wrong. God does heal, but he doesn't choose to heal everybody, because he is sovereign and we don't know why he heals some and others he doesn't. I'm not quite sure what point Voddie was trying to make here. I respect him, but I came away after listening to this talk feeling dismayed? Lack of understanding? Perhaps not the right words. I am a faithful, born again Christian, I love the Lord, I have prayed for healing, but thusfar I have not been healed. Therefore, I have learned to bear my affliction because His strength is made perfect in my weakness. I am not more, or less of a Christian, just because I have chronic depression. I tried to disguise it for a long time especially around Christians, but now I can bear the fact that if I tell them the truth and if they decide to shun me, I am ok with that, for i am fearfully and wonderfully made. So Rev Baucham, I lovingly say to you, from one Christian to another, please do your homework because you and Rev MacArthur are seriously lacking in this space and you have not walked one day in my shoes.. It's a terrible thing to falsely accuse a man of "looking for a loophole", in Matthew 19:9.
