Thank you sm for such a great tutorial! I’m a beginner and I haven’t been that proud of my projects. But I finished my hat last night and I cannot believe I made it myself! It’s so beautiful and I’m so proud of it. The tutorial was so helpful and straightforward.

Could you consider to write down and eventually sale this pattern on for exemple etsy? I always do the same mistakes while doing this: the top is to wide and to short and I usually start this underbust increasing downeards. I think it is because I can't do this in one day/one crochet sitting. If you write it down with some schematic pictures it will be super helpfull!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I always thought the beginning rounds should lie flat, and that the circle should not begin to "dome up" significantly until the crown is completed. Also that if it domes earlier, it means your hook is too small. Am I missing something?

Hi there, I am a beginner with a much thinner cotton yarn than the one in the video. How would you suggest I adjust the pattern to accommodate my yarn? Thanks :-)
@jenm4721
@jenm4721 Ай бұрын
Use a smaller crochet hook, you may need to make a couple of swatches to see what fabric you like the best from the different hooks. Look at the label on your yarn to see what size hook they suggest. If your guage is smaller than hers, then you will problably need to continue increasing beyond the stitch counts that she has.

That’s bad for the cats ears. Cats sweet though their ears and will get infections and other problems when covered with clothing. It’s cute but the hat should have a strap instead of ear holes

@@zoeysworld5948i think as long as you don’t leave it on for ages, maybe pictures or stuff then it should be fine. Or make it in a light weight yarn so it’s more breathable
