We love that one too, Sula! Apparently it went home with Leanne and she has it displayed on a table in her condo. It's a unique and interesting material, and we're glad she chose to design with it for Live. Thank you for taking time to watch the show, and we do hope you enjoyed it. We'll have photos of all of the arrangements over the weekend and we hope you will stop by to see them as well. Wishing you a splendid weekend and hope all is beautiful and bright for you!

Who are "Suzie" and "Caladonia?" You always mention them but haven't said what they do. Are they teachers not in the studio?
@FlowerSchool
@FlowerSchool 4 сағат бұрын
Hello KJ! That's an excellent question and we're glad you asked it. Susie and Caledonia are not teachers, but they play important roles in our Wednesday Lives and both of them work remotely. Susie monitors the feed on KZfaq responding to everyone who posts in the chat while Caledonia monitors the feed on Facebook and does the same thing, greeting and responding to everyone who posts in the chat. Both of them have other roles for Floral Design Institute as well. Susie responds to social media on four different platforms, and Caledonia is involved in the editing and posting of our videos. One of these days we'll get them both into the studio so you can meet them on Live. We do hope you enjoyed this week's show and all of the beautiful arrangements that Leanne created. Thank you very much for dropping by to say hello. We hope you have a fabulous weekend and we wish you all the best in everything you do!

We're starting to think about Halloween now, CB Boucher, and we'll be sure to have something quite spooky for the show! Not sure if you saw last year's Halloween Live with dear Teacher Carolyn but she created some amazing arrangements that were quite haunting and beautiful. You can find the show here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ptmAaq6jnN2ymqM.html Thank you for watching this week's Live and for reaching out to us. We hope you have a stellar weekend with flowers, and we send you best wishes for it as well. Hope to see you again soon!

Love the look of those Pasta Gerberas ❤! Funny story...while working at a local flower shop I hated how the owner just stuck the cardboard the gerbs came in on standing in a bucket like a pancake on its edge. So many bent and twisted stems! I bought a small metal bakery cooling rack for a buck at the dollar store, suspended it over a bucket, and placed the gerbs like Leanne did. VOILA...no more twisted bent stems or broken off heads...much nicer to design with and cost savings on product as well 🤩. The owner took a bit to get used to the new way, but did agree it was much better 😂. Thanks Leanne for another great tip ❤ 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

That's a splendid story, Roxy! Thank you very much sharing it with us and for creating change in the shop around their care and handling of their Gerbera daisies. With your small purchase, you made a tremendous shift in maintaining the beauty and longevity of those lovely flowers and that is huge. This is just another example of why we love you so much and are so glad that you are part of the Tulip Bunch. We're so glad you stopped by to learn more about the Gerbera Pasta, and we hope you enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday for Live and hope you have an extraordinary week. P.S. Hope your garden is still doing well!

Would you ask the bride what type of flowers she likes, even if I told her there’s no guarantee? Or should I still stick to only selling a color palette?
@FlowerSchool
@FlowerSchool 5 күн бұрын
That is such an important question, AB, and such a good one too! It's always good to ask about favorite flowers as long as there is an understanding that you aren't promising those. Knowing more about the wedding couple will help you select the best blooms for them and know what kinds of substitutions you can make as well. So yes, do ask the question to get a better understanding of the person and what they love. For example, one person might love big showy blooms while another prefer small delicate petite flowers. One person might enjoy a bouquet with fragrance while another wouldn't like that at all. The more information you gather, the better you will be able to work. Thank you very much for taking time to watch our Live and learn more about floral design. We hope it was fun and helpful for you, and we look forward to having you stop by again soon. Sending you best wishes and hope you have a delightful week!

Simplicity…but with skill. The Bird of Paradise is a work of art by itself but with it defining the line and space in this arrangement it contributes toward added beauty. Teacher Leanne adds just the right colors to continue the triadic harmony and those textures! As always, such a pleasure to view and learn from these videos. Thank you. Chere 🌷

On Saturdays, there is nothing better than reading one of your posts, Chere! They bring us such delight and we love to hear what you think of the latest Saturday Showcase. You have such a unique and spot on way of describing these floral designs, particularly this one using birds of paradise, and we are always interested in hearing your thoughts and perspective. It really informs what we do and lets us know if we are on the right track. Thank you very much for taking the time to watch the latest classic video from our library. We hope you are enjoying these last few weeks of summer and finding joy in all of your work. Wishing you the very best and looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday for Live!
