I don’t think this is a good product for Japanese players, let alone anyone at that matter. Each booster pack will cost 500-600¥ (5-6 bucks) for 5 non-foil cards. If 33% of the packs include Majestics/Legendarys. It’ll take around 8 boxes for 1 CNC. Feels like LSS trying to make money more than help the market.

I wish they would reprint CnC into the ground. The card is ubiquitous, it's availability should be ubiquitous too.

I just want more reprints for the generic cards. Right now CnC is not accessible in Brazil. There is only one CnC and one E-strike beign sold in the main website that work as a marketplace. I would have to buy it from other countries anyway, and it's not like it's a cheap card at all. On TCG player it's says "out of stock", on cardtrader there are like just 6 stores selling the unlimited version. Should a card like this be THAT scarce? I don't know it those japanese reprints will affect the market that much, but I sure hope it does. And hopefully the Dash armory deck gets an interesting decklist, it's a hero that I'm thinking about (in part for the lack of need for those generic cards)

While I'll never complain about a CnC reprint, according to TCGPlayer only 2 Japanese MoMs made it over to the USA and sold. Probably more sold on other specialty groups like purple discord or facebook but I'd be amazed if it was more than ~20 copies. I don't think many cards from these archive packs will make it over the seas to other regions without special ordering them. Happy for them though :) it's rough enough for the rest of us I imagine it's tougher for them. MoM might also be a bad comparison as both ninjas that use it aren't meta and one is close to LL'ing.

I hope these stay mainly in Japan. For the growth of the game.

that is definitely my question... how do I get my hands on the rosetta archive set. Love the Japanese cards and that you can open those old cards? yes please. Also the Japanese market is used to the small packs of 5 cards and the small boxes. That's how Pokemon and many other TCGs release their boxes.

You kind of misrepresented Fatigue shot, boss. It only halves the base attack value.

In a deck that focuses on aim counters, it's almost criminal to not mention Judge, Jury, Executioner, especially with how it interacts with Seek and Destroy. JJE has the Legendary keyword, so you can run only one, and costs about $4. You'll also want 3x Dead Eye, a $5.50-$6ish majestic. Dead Eye gives +3 and discard on hit. You can stack hit triggers with JJE so that JJE resolves first, forcing the opponent to discard all but one card, then Dead Eye discards the one that JJE left behind. Discard on hit is also a very powerful on hit. Lace with Frailty & Yellow Read the Glide Path can be taken out for Dead Eye & JJE

I’m still waiting for its delivery, but I feel like this armory deck is very inconsistent. I hope upgrades would let me go to some local casual armory events.

As a runeblade main who enjoys briar, I’m down on tome of harvests until I see the earth weapons. As of now there aren’t any mechanics that have been shown to care about non-attacks. That doesn’t make it bad, it just means you’re reading two cards aim hand and one in arsenal for three new cards.

The lore of Flesh and Blood is the best of any TCG in my opinion and if your theory is right that brings it to a whole new level! As a lore channel myself I love seeing channels pitching new lore ideas. I always guess on how the story directions are going to go before a new set comes out. Keep up the good work 👍

I don t understand why people sort alphabetically as it is such a massive massive time waster when sorting bulk. Numbers at so much faster especillay inserting cards into boxes once you have all the numbers set instead of having to figure out where the "DO" something words are within the D columns. I dont sell on tcgplayer so its not an issue for me. Get an order, paste it into excel, click button and pick up numbers in sequence. Also built in is separating foils and non foils by putting plains first and next foils with a diff separator tab mening that in 3 sec I can pull any foil of any set.

I'm a historian of the first Interactive Storyline CCG, Legend of the Five Rings (1995-2015) by AEG. Many of their games (Deadlands, Legend of the Burning Sands, 7th Seas) had that elemental where the players could determine major outcomes in the story. They should do this again in Flesh and Blood TCG.

I think you're right, LSS may be leaning harder into player driven lore, though I think they've been walking that path for a bit; the Everfest card 'Pry' is believed to be fashioned after DMArmada here on YT, and promo 'Good Deeds Don't Go Unnoticed' with that Kitchen sink guy. Been a FAB fan since 2019 odd, LOVE the game / cards / collectability!

I hope they do something like this for the final return to Monarch! Like split it light and shadow instead of by hero!

One detail I think you forgot is that buying a sealed collector guarantee you get one "limited chase card". For exemple, a bloomburrow collector box garantee you get one raised foil OR special guest foil. And you have sets like lost caverns that come with a treasure trove box topper, which is worth considering.

I like how you went for the Bloomburrow Commander decks and not the MH3 Commander decks which were applauded for their good value. Not defending WOTC, their products can be hit or miss, mostly miss, it just feels disingenuous.

My feeling with the Armory decks not having arcane barrier insured is the first two don't have arcane barrier because their cost curve doesn't support it. It's worthless. They're aggro decks that are potentially never going to block and just trying to gun people down. Azalea can have it because she can actually pitch a blue and still have a meaningful turn... And nobody has ab3 because I think all three decks will just fold to a wizard anyway

Loved the idea. You should also compare them to some other TCG. I know one piece for pretty expensive and then pretty cheap. Stuff like Yu-Gi-Oh has this weird model where you need 3 precons to create an actual deck and things like that. Markets are weird lol

Are 30€/33$ a good price for 3 commons and 3 rares of every card from a newer set? I found an online seller who makes that offer.

40 bucks for a cohesive deck that can win an armory out of the box is awesome no matter the value of the cards inside.

I bought the racoon mtg deck (my first mtg product bought since 2021 probably). The difference with Magic is that the commander product is not aimed to be used in any sort of competition, it's a casual product. In fact, my playgroup has house rules to the point that I even bought the deck and replaced 3 cards from it because they are too powerful in our self balanced meta (Greater Good, Blasphemous Act and Sol Ring). Although the FAB armory decks can also be used this way, they are meant to be an entry point for people to get into the game... a game that has competition in its roots. If you play at a LGS, you are probably facing people with completed decks, leaving you at a big disadvantage. I looked at the azalea deck and thought about buying it, but upon looking at the general azaleas decklists, the precon lacks cards like Codex of Frailty. A card that is run on a full set and each of them costing almost 2 times the price of the precon (at least looking at the prices here in Brazil). If you give me the price of just one Codex of Frailty, I could do wonders to improve the racoon deck. I understand the point of the FAB armory decks having more absolute value in terms of the card prices, but the idea of the products makes the MTG one much more complete than the FAB one. The armory deck is an entry point that will require you to spend a good amount to complete your deck, while the commander one only requires you to have a playgroup that doesn't run only the best cards in the game.

6 and higher power on cards is not as abundant in commoner overall, so phantasm ends up hardly being a problem. Enigma chimeras and spectral riders are very useful, in my experience. They arent the only focus, i split up the attacks with building ward weapons as well, but to punctuate Enigma's regular playstyle with the common phantasm attacks is very strong.

The problem is Us. We used to be the target audience. We want a brutal fast paced action game. Where there is no mercy or quarter given. But now they design for a game where everyone is laughing together, doesn’t matter if you win, hold back on eachother, let the weak limp along, political deals are happening, no real threat to lose the game early because of the high life totals. I think it’s Worse, but have come to accept the fact that it’s just Different, and I’m no longer the main audience. 😅
