Think anyone can help me here? I'm trying to figure something out... Last night, I noticed flashing white strobe lights through my windows. At first I thought it was the police or ambulance, but there were no red nor blue lights, just white. When I went outside, I saw a dark suburban easing down the alley behind my house. It had some sort of saucer looking device on top and was flashing lights through the sides of it. I thought it might be a Google map camera. But I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Thanks :) I was struggling to get consistency within each roast, without manually slowly turning the temperature up. I didn't want to invalidate the warantee by breaking into the electronics, so this solution gives around 1 degree Celcius rise every 4 to 5 seconds. I find with this slow rise, as soon as you get the first crack, it's onto a roll within 10 seconds or so, and over within another 30 - much closer than with a fast rise. So the colour is more consistent, and it tastes lovely!

Genius! How did slowing the temperature rise profile down affect the flavor in the cup? Could you tell a noticeable difference?

What would happen if it was magnitized to repel itself slightly off the base. Not a lot, just enough to slightly give it a lift so that one end is raised slightly. I think if someone made one like that, you could get the disk to spin much, much, much longer. I think there's something there that can offer a major breakthrough, maybe combining this with some type of static generator, possibly something like a whimshurst generator (but not the typical model). Innovation is awesome! Keep tinkering!
