Someone at the hair store told me to leave it in 20 minutes! I just started searching so many different sources on opinions about how long. glad I found your video.
@LifewithQuanda13 күн бұрын
Oh no 20 minutes is way too long. Definitely don’t listen to who ever stated that. The would be over processed or even worse you could experience breakage

Can some one tell me does this work best on a person that is completely natural initially ? I haven’t relaxed in months maybe almost 6 months I’m wondering will my hair look crazy I’m scared to do it

Alright so I plan on getting a texturizer tomorrow . My hair type right now is pretty much 4c but when it’s wet it looks like 3C…. What texture of my hair will it be after this texturizer. (4b , 4a, 3C, 3b , etc

What texture is it now?
@minimink699316 күн бұрын
@@kookiesenglish2405 tbh… it’s about 2c ! I love it so much and am so happy with my results. It still curls and it’s much easier to work with! Hair wash routine cut in half and my hair is waist length . If your thinking about it , This is your sign !!

@@kookiesenglish2405 your very welcome !!! Also a few tips, If you plan on dying your hair, try to wait atleast 3 weeks after your texturizer. If you recently dyed it, don’t texturize it for about a month don’t drink sprite before texturizing lol.

Idk my hair type but I’m half hispanic so I do this once a year typically every June so my curly hair can be flat ironed. I don’t leave it on longer than 5 mins

You only did your roots ?
@ImaniEstrellaPattersonАй бұрын
You just convinced me to do this. I have 4A curly hair and it gets real nappy at the roots. I have good curls, but it’s too much frizz and I can never do a wash and go bc of this. Im so tired of weaves and straightening my hair, so I might do this for the summer!

Will it be harder to grow out your hair when you decide to go natural after the texturizer? I’m currently getting it tomorrow but now idk I have to do more research cuz my mom did it and it’s fine but our hair r different so I don’t wanna jump into conclusions

Does using a texturizer make it easier to grow your hair?
@fayedenisejohnson17523 ай бұрын
Your hair turned out absolutely BEAUTIFUL 🤗 So, in your video you showed that your roots and edges are covered with texterizer on it, then it switched to you AFTER rinsing it out, BUT did you add texterizer to your remaining (all the way to the ends) hair? It doesn't show you doing it on camera, so I'm just wondering. 😏

I just did mine today using just for me, so far I love it. I Still have my curls, but my hair is softer and way more easy to manage. I’m definitely back motivated to take care of my hair, and I’m going to try to grow it long

U use this product every 6 months, and I only use about 50% of the activation solution as generally wear my hair as wash and go, twists, etc. my hair is healthy and no breakage. Also, stopped coloring my gray hair over a year ago.
@oliviastar38122 ай бұрын
did you use it while you dyed it too? if so what were your results?
@clydeswinfield1556Ай бұрын
That's a great ideal! I'm going to do just that because when I first gave myself the telax I used all of the activator now I have a softer and curly afro but thanks to you next time I retouch it I will only put in half the activator so it'll keep the thickness to it! Thank you very much!😊

I would wake a week or so and use a semi-permanent hair color. The Pattern hair styling cream is great for smoothing your hair. I use Soft and Beautiful, no lye texture softener.

If anyone knows and sees this, when she says not to apply it in your hairs curly state, does she mean It should be applied to previously blow dried hair? (Like after I wash a few days before, blow dry as well, then apply texturizer a few days later)

when you mean it wont turn curly if you don’t already have curls so is it like a permanent wash and go but dry
@michellemoore50508 ай бұрын
So its pretty much a perm with a different name lol.
@Newchapter-ui2gr9 ай бұрын
I watched one video saying not to do that before it won’t texture your hair in a curly state. My thought was blown out hair is not permanent and the texturizer will break the thr curl at the molecuee level. So it really doesn’t matter. Then your video came up on my feed. I like how your results came out. I too have way too much shrinkage, wash n goes and twist, and twist outs comes out horrible. This will give me more versatility. And to be honest, no one has to justify why they’re going back to relaxers or texturizer. This is your hair not theirs.
