What a tremendously informative video showing the work of the Gurkha Welfare Trust. I saw some of this firsthand on a recent self-funded visit to two of the welfare centres at Bagmati in Kathmandu and at Kaski in Pokhara. I am a donor who generates funds by undertaking basic gardening for older and disabled people close to where I live in north Surrey. Last year I raised £3K which is half a million Nepali rupees. I can hardly wait to return.

Hey guys, incredible work always goin on in the homeland to give the people a better life after service. Awesome job by Haru, class movin Everest an the first EVER double amputee, above the knees to do it. Luv bein part of this, in a small way every mnth. As a veteran I find it appalling that the Ghurka veterans are not treated and looked after on a par to other British military veterans. Without the Ghurka's we'd have lost many a battle in jungle warfare. God bless these extremely proud veterans and their families as always, loyal to Our crown without question. Mitch Mitchell
