The exercise is to practice controlling the breath to create more resonance when you speak.

When i talk for longer my ear starts to close up and i have to close nostrils and create positive pressure to release eardrums, like in airplanes. ✈️
@jimmycannonvoicecoach9 күн бұрын
You're probably talking to much from your nasal cavity. Try relaxing your throat and breathing from your abdominals. I have a few videos on this!

I’m on T and my voice is currently dropping - when I try to sing songs I’ve nailed before, my voice just goes out or I make alien noises. 😭

Hi Jimmy, I heard that taking huge breaths when trying to project your voice actually makes your voice more constricted and you have less control over the airflow, do you have any thoughts on this? I'm guessing you just mean remembering to take a natural size breath rather than speaking fast and forgetting to breathe
@jimmycannonvoicecoach9 күн бұрын
Yes, you don't need to take a massive breath. Just enough for you to say the next phrase confortably. Most people however, don't take enough breath in the first place...

@@jimmycannonvoicecoach did recently! He said it looks fine just slight red left, most likely from healing inflammation. Or that the carthilage have sorta hit eachother?, its better but still aches. He said the carthilage thing isnt dangerous if thats it. Thou idk why it aches so easily from that little inflammation, oh well :p resting again from scratch and it seems to heal.

Considering that the 1980's philosophy of "job combination" has been brought to it's logical conclusion over the last 40 years, I feel the video maker should blame the corporation for staffing each location so slimly that the workers need to do the jobs of 3 to 5 people at once. Locations are constantly ran by skeleton crews, so no one has time to look at the customer anymore, especially during huge rushes. If the poster of this video doesn't like this, then he should write a video or letter to the company saying to increase the staffing, and then not frequent that store until he hears that the company increases their staffing at that location. Speaking with your wallet is the only language the companies will listen to.

I agree in principle.
