That's good work. You've picked up many of the social issues. You're correct about the prejudice and problems single men face. I suggest you're listing mostly neglect and lack of care. Not hate. There are lots of examples of real hatred of single men but you're being politically correct and staying away from those which is a good strategy. These issues are also a subset of the mistreatment of men generally. Not just single men. Married men are just a little more protected. Some further areas you might want to explore further include education, health care, parental rights, workplace equality, access to support services, being a victim of crime, access to justice. Men generally, and single men especially are more exposed and neglected by society. Alternatively you've already identified a good set of issues to work on. The idea that men only have value if they are serving women is particularly demeaning. Lack of male friendships and prioritizing those is certainly a problem and also a potential solution. I was in a very short and bad marriage. I would come home from work and my ex-wife would hide. I would walk around the house and look for her, I would call my neighbor, then look more. Then she would scare the hell out of me. I learned I will yell from being scared like that. I would ask her to stop, but she would do it again. She had a bad temper too. She would criticize my weight, (and I was in good shape). Then one night she said that one day she's going to kill me. She lives in Brazil and went back home so we can make arrangements. Now her father wanted money. He was a good man with old fashioned values. But him wanting money and my wife saying more than once that she's going to kill me was too much. I filed for a divorce. For some crazy reason, I still love my ex-wife. But I feel safe without her. She is the classic beautiful Brazilian woman. Looks that kill. But I was on her menu. No thank you.

All of this! So true....been right through it in the most awful circumstances and toxicity. I couldn't care less about opinions, no-one can change my character. I gave everything, and people tell me so. I'm so happy that I fall into the 5-10% who find the strength, power and sheer bloody guts to change for the better of myself - it would have only got even worse. Step by step, I'm getting fitter, confidence slowly coming back. Making lots of plans for myself for this year and for all of 2025. Giving myself goals and projects to work towards - travel, work, my own self care. I wish everyone going through it and coming our the other side the very best!!

Great video. I can relate to your points about the princess treatment and the banker. I am a 36 year old dentist, and I once dated this 34 year old accountant. She never said "Thank you" when I paid for our meals at 3 different restaurants. She openly admitted making 170K/year, yet she never offered to pay for anything. She just sat there when I paid. She had this attitude of expecting free stuff. Her mentality came off as "Her money is her money and my money is OUR money." I broke things off with her and she was surprised. She wanted to know why. I never gave her the reason. Yeah, it was dumb of me to pay 3 separate times. Oh well, lesson learned. I know a woman that completely changed herself. She looks amazingly beautiful. But the last time I talked to her; she was still single. She has a very mean side to her, and I could tell it doesn't matter to her if she hurts someone's feelings. I was married to her and tried to remain friends. I couldn't do it. I had to start no contact. I did try to overlook things, but a mad person is simply a mad person. Sometimes I look at the empty pillow next to me and remember the nights when we were married.
