how do i explore this figma AI beta?

Using the new UI in figma slides… it’s kind of a cluster fuck. It’s not better yet. Hopefully the long tail vision will rein it in. But so far not a fan of the overall flow and ultimately UX of the changes.

Can you make a video showing how to use auto layout with a master table? The master table should have an action column as the last column, which contains a dropdown menu. However, the dropdown menu is getting hidden behind the next layer. How can we bring that particular row to the front? I'm looking for a video that explains this process.

Bulk scoping works. Select all variables within a group and click "Edit variable" at one of them and set the scope. It works. However, it seems, taht I can't change the scope of multiple groups this way by selecting multiple group names.

COMMENT: Professional subscription provides only 4 modes, just not enough for the example (Value, Primary, Error, Warning, Success), so I would have to go with groups. Enterprise subscription would be needed for the 4+ modes, but that is very expensive for my purposes. Anyhow, I might rename the first "Value" mode to "Primitive" and then do this with a total of 4 modes. I am just trying that.

Hi, the Styler seems to work OK with the line height percentages, only Figma is not showing that it is a percentage: 49/120 is displayed in both cases instead of 49/120 and 49/120%. So manual redoing was superfluous. Anyhow, thanks for the video, I again learnt a lot.

How can I find that frames of coulors or typography? Should I create them by myself?

Your design system series is awesome. Can you please make a video of color system (variable naming) for a large company like Spotify or IBN? They have a lot of colors for borders, surfaces etc. I am not sure how can we manage a large library. Just like other designers, I also confused with the tokens naming. KZfaq doesn't have any video for that. Can you help?

I cant enable figma AI

Good video TD Sunshine. The problem with these AI feature is that, they are gonna make teams believe that design is as easy as prompting Figma to push pixels. This will lead into very low quality products being handed off for development (let's not dive into issues with AI generated code). I'm on board with some AI features especially the ones that take away mundane tasks from designers like renaming layers, but not in support of features like generating designs with a prompt.

I spent about 4 hours trying to figure this out and you explained it SO well in just a few minutes. Thank you so much!!!!!

Great video but You should Use text size and line height in 8 pixel ratio like 48px size and 56 pix line height. I think this make more sense instead of using 49 and 58.2 line height. what do you think?

Thanks for showing the flexibility is the string variable! To return the favor and share some advice: Technically you want to use checkboxes (square shaped) for separately toggling on and off. A circle indicates a radiobutton and radiobuttons are not supposed to be able to turn off once you reclick the same button. And only 1 radiobutton of a group can be turned on at one time.
