I was gonna have him do that originally, but for plot reasons it made him be able to feel pain so she could betray him. He also only allowed it to be put on because he felt guilty for letting AFO get away. Also ontop of all that, you're just not supposed to read into it that far😭

I dont know man I just feel like the whole "Everyone bullied me but now that im stronger you all die" thing is kinda overused. Also u gotta have enemys that make things harder every now and then. Or else theres no plot ya know? Overpowerd mc gets boring after a while because its just "jee I wonder if he's gonns win this fight?*he wins* Oh wow who saw that comming" I gotta provide a challenge for the mc to overcome. Now I dont like him just "oh you all feel bad? Forgiven" yeah I dont like thay either. So its more of a "im willing to never talk to you again since you said your sorry" but not complete forgiveness.
