I like hypergravity a lot and I like the challenge of playing what people see as a weak class engraving to the highest skill level, I've dabbled in RH and I have a 5x3+1 build for it but it really for homework raids that are too short for GT burst windows. Trading blow for blow with the boss also feels great like I'm in some fighting anime but that's just me.

Negligible 1-2% nerf and I don't care about it. Wasn't exactly warranted but I assume gt was doing fantastic against behemoth so was probably at the top of charts and they wanted to dial it back a bit. Does fine in content anyways

It's still a tough fight to learn, rotation still has vulnerabilities and you can't just eat every attack in Gate 4 or you're making it harder for your team

Oh I just noticed you said you don't know much about the class, it fills up identity but I'd rather save it for a time where I really mess up my rotation and the timing for using it doesn't push any time gated mechs fast enough to make a significant difference I don't really like to do it unless I majorly mess up my rotation or forget a core on a skill. It's a pretty long animation and *anything* could happen during that time like a grab or red pattern instant filling. I had enough practice in this gate to know when to hold gauge or wait and I knew the timing of our clash pushes that I wouldn't need the back to back hypergrav to push the shield clash

It was our last pull of the night so we focused up slightly more than usual

Thanks! I posted one on September 30th, 2023 with all the tripods & skills I use with the only change being the third tripod on Perfect Swing. My gear as of now is +25 akkan weapon, 3x +21 akkan armor and 2x +22 akkan armor. 40 set critical and I don't believe anything else has changed. I plan on making another gear video once I fish for this last accessory I'm hunting for and after gate 3/4 clear :)

GT, SA, Grudge, MB, Bar, RH+1 In regards to CD vs SA 3, both are essentially the same now whereas before SA was much better in most scenarios. In terms of raw damage during hypergravity, they're about equal now and CD comes out on top with blade / atropine usage, but keep in mind SA also speeds up your rotation since most GT can run intemperance (charged tripod) on Perfect Swing instead of hour of slaughter (instant), and that damage gain if it crits is massive - about 2x more damage for that skill. I would advise keeping SA because it allows for faster rotation, repositioning, and overall comfort since you may not always have a blade and atropines are limited to 3 uses per encounter.

I dont particularly recommend running the skill I have on w, it's called gravitational energy and I believe it's charge enhancement and agile speed + the first tripod on third tier. I just run this skill because I like the playstyle more but it's extremely punishing to mess up. Also wanted to edit to say gravity training is not entirely braindead, it's easy to survive but difficult to do proper damage. I would recommend to at least try it out in earlier raids where dying / dps is not as tight.

@@fluquor Thank you verry much mate yea u dont have push immunity on it but you get your 3 bubbles way faster to get one more purple skill into a dps window yea i know that ^^ i have a 1590 and a 1580 something gravity destroyer as well. Staying alive is a joke but to do proper you have to wait for good pattern to go into gravitymode because otherwise you waste a lot of potential dmg. Sometimes im lucky and get cruel fighter in every akkan gate and sometimes im not even on the board xD But yea compared to my 3 Scrapper who dont have any Push immunity destroyer seems pretty braindead in G4 because you are not pushed into the water that easily

I run rage hammer as my +1. If I didn't have rage hammer as my option I'd run cd or barricade as my +1.

I run full spec with crit on necklace, tripods I just run meter gen on earth eater and full damage on Earth wave. If you can check out the community guide here if you still need some guidance www.lostark.nexus/destroyer I think one of the bad parts about gravity training is that the level 10 damage gem on hypergravity skill matters way too much, just like the other 1-2 damage gem classes. More spec will help you scale your damage as well and GT tends to have an extremely low damage floor but a high ceiling if played right.

It really depends on the player, if you kinda prepare yourself in the mindset that dps windows won't be the greatest you can sacrifice head attacks just to keep chipping in damage. Some damage is better than none at all

@@fluquor that's my problem, i'm too much of a perfectionist and I hold too much damage going for head attacks.

@@christopherjohnson2171 it helps to just take your time and learn boss patterns, also just accepting that you aren't always going to get head attacks. In my hakkan prog I managed to get around 80% head atk but I was already pretty comfortable with the boss attacks already

@@fluquor for me the worst part is after 120, he teleports so much. I can make up a lot of ground in hidden phase though, the front attacks are free there. I am one of 3 +25 akkan weapons in my party and it is very hard for me to compete with the back attacker (Wardancer 4 spender entropy) and the hit master (Master Summoner). I can get on the board or MVP in gate 1 but I've never beat them in 2 and 3.

This raid has a mechanic where random players are periodically targeted with meteors, with the goal of not breaking more than 4 of the 9 tiles that make up the whole map. "11, 11, 6" is just referring to positions on a clock face as if it was the whole map so "11, 11, 6" means the first two players with meteors stand at the 11 o clock position and the third at 6 o clock. There's more to the mechanic than that but it's a basic summary of it.

@@fluquor I started playing as a destroyer like 5 days ago, and I had more fun playing it gravity control instead rage hammer, do you think RH is much better than GT or thats bs?

@qzarny on average rh performs better than gt, since the bulk of rh damage comes out pretty fast versus gt hyper gravity duration lasting 12 seconds, it tends to do better from just more consistency. GT has a higher ceiling than rh, but also a much lower floor. If you enjoy gravity training don't let any numbers or opinions stop you, gt is a matter of learning boss patterns and knowing when to wait a few seconds for an optimal pattern and when to give up on head attacks and just hit sides to get the damage in at all All of that said, I believe gt is harder to play than rh because of how long it takes to learn and adapt to the unique playstyle and abusing your high shield uptime / damage reduction to get in damage where no other dps can (other than blue gunlancer), also a matter of avoiding patterns that become a detriment to your raid party like getting grabbed by brelshaza or filling up your gauge excessively in any boss (vykas, clown, akkan)
