I truly like Charity (Emma's) singing. She sounded quite good to me. Her version sounded better than Nina Simone's. But, I keep hearing in my head a version that's somewhere between Nina's , but slower than Elvis Costello's. Anybody know what version that might be? Charity should sing this nowadays. Even if it's just singing to herself, as she's cleaning house or whatever. She sounded better by herself, actually. Sorry Chas. And I too wish she'd sang this to the Vanessa of old. Cuz this really does fit Charity's character.
