It appears to me that you have gophers in your lawn and garden. I may be wrong but nearly all my mole activity is raised meandering trails in my lawns, beds and hay field. I suppose the mole bait may kill gophers, but I don't think so. The mounds are a common indication of gopher activity. Simply place a Gopher Hawk in the trail, that is usually about 6" away from the 'plug' of dirt (look for it!) that the gopher uses to deposit their unneeded soil. They then push enough dirt out of their trail to plug the hole. If there is the possibility that you've mistaken these mounds for moles but are actually gophers, I suggest you use a Gopher Hawk. These are incredible tools that work perfectly IF you know how to use them! They can also, but not as successfully, used for moles. The kit contains a trap, and a wallowing TOOL that has a probe inside of it, that is used to find the trail, then the wallowing tool is used to wallow into the ground, ending up in the gopher's trail (it's the size of the GH). Once you're in the trail, you back the wallowing tool out (with a slow twist, then set the trap, making sure it stands up straight. The trap is now set! If you have an indication the the trap has sprung (the spring elongates), then use a round shovel to dig around the GH, then CAREFULLY start prying up on the shovel a little, then go 1/4 the way around it, then 1/4th of the way around it , then 1/4 of the way around the GH. Now pry the GH out. The idea is to NOT damage the 'cage'! The cage costs about 1/2 as much as the entire tool! GOOD LUCK Gopher Hunters!!

I had to put my 10 year old husky to sleep coz of his illness , he died 6 months after my father died from mesothelioma cancer , i wach my father suffered for months at home i cud not wach him suffer too , my father loved him very much and now there are together , when is my time to go i hope he will be there with my father waiting for me . I'm looking forward to see them both again . don't get me wrong i'm not suicidal i just don't view life and death the same way . God forgive me i did not cry when my father died cuz his suffering was ending , but i cried like a little baby for my husky malamute mix . Nothing will help you with the pain , the more you loved your pet the more you are gonna feel pain , Just take comfort in knowing that you are not the only one with that pain and that one day you will see them again .

When we met with the Andersen Project Consultant, he didn't know how our 80 year old window sashes would be removed. I explained we didnt want the original wooden window molding damaged. I called the Andersen Installation Department, and was told CUSTOMERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TALK TO THE WINDOW INSTALLERS! And he couldn't explain how much would have to be removed from the window opening to install the Andersen Windows. Who would ever hire anyone to work on their home without knowing them and the extent of the work! Andersen had rhe highest project cost of everyone we interviewed. We are in Southeast Pennsylvania.

i and my friend were needing to cry, and felt very clogged up, so i searched videos on youtube that i know would make us cry. i searched first for "dogs seeing their owners for the first time in a long time" and a lot of those have become like. corporate dodo-esque stuff where they just feel like. they are put up impersonally to make money. and they often had clips of animals that probably werent taken cared of well (personal monkeys, etc). those videos we used to pull up when we were teens, to be able to cry. but they have changed a lot in these years past.. but then a video popped up - about putting a dog to rest. and so i searched that, and this video popped up. what a labour of love. what a beautiful life you have led and taken care of shadow in. you truly put so much love into making this video, and from the vid description - i really really get how difficult it must have been. since my family dog passed, ive wanted to years to make a video for him, and his sister that passed a year later. but its incredibly.. difficult to sometimes even go through the footage. i love them both dearly, and the other dogs i knew and loved (and Still love), and its so incredibly clear that you do too. thank you both so much for making and documenting this video. it also made both me and my friend able to cry and process more of both our grief and traumas, and so we appreciate it and you so so much. youve done something truly beautiful. thank you.

Two weeks ago tomorrow at 8:28am I said goodbye to my Sandy. Unfortunately, I took her to the emergency room thinking I was going to be taking her home. My goodbye felt so rushed and too quick to feel proper. I also think I waited too long by a good 6 to 8 hours as she was pacing all night from bed to bed to favorite spot, trying to get comfortable. When I finally took her in and they ran an xray and some tests, I got the hard facts. Her lungs were filling with liquid and she was suffering. She was put on oxygen and IV and while I called and waited for two family members to arrive, they would not let me go back to see her due to other animals in the room. When they finally brought her out, I wasn't sure if she realized what was going on. I don't think I even had two minutes to say goodbye before the first injection which was followed very quickly by the second. In that short time I FELT her leave as I cried over her. Her body was so still and I wanted to hug and cry over her until she came back. When they lifted her lifeless body, I could have screamed that she is not gone, merely sleeping. Just give me a damn minute. How the hell is this happening? Why can't I stop it? She had become deaf in her last year so she couldn't even here me say how much I loved her and how sorry I was. I feel like if I had taken her hours earlier, I would at least had a couple more minutes with her last moments. I have two regrets as I was so distraught. I didn't hold my nose to her nose long enough for her to lick me one last time like she usually did and second, I did not bring a treat for her. All she had was a balling incoherent mess as my tears fell freely over her snout and I covered her in as many kisses and gentle hugs as possible while trying to absorb each and every moment of her presence in this world and impart in some way how much she meant to me. I pray to God, she felt those tears, understood what I had to do and know without a doubt, I loved her with all my heart and soul.

Our soft coated wheaten terrier had trouble getting up and down stairs because of blood clots in the back legs but she was very strong and she would always pull us up the very steep hill in our neighborhood. Our dog had to go to the dog hospital because of the blood clots and the nurses trying to get the blood clots out but they started to move around her body to her head cause her to have seizures. Part of my family say her before she passed away. It was a long time ago when that event happened. I heard that soft coated wheaten terriers have a jenarick features that can causes them to have blood clots in the back legs.
