I heard somewhere that JYP just eliminated them for the drama, but that could have been an after-the-fact PR damage control to indicate he always intended to bring them back --- but later seeing that they weren't kicked out of JYP completely and continued to train with JYP/facilities, it is clear the possibility of return existed (if he saw enough improvement/drive largely affecting decision which way to go). He may have had legit hesitation (that they needed more work, Felix's Korean may have been a legit factor) and deliberation (considering the outcome), but he's got to be so glad he brought them back! To think how close he came to losing what he has now... I didn't discover Stray Kids until 2023 so I wasn't around to see things as they happened, contribute to votes, or the suspense (of survival or kingdom). I have had the luxury of being able to binge right through. Quicker resolution takes the sting out just a pinch for knowing the outcome, but you don't cry any less every time you see the heartbreak clips.

It it so emotional, painful to be reminded of our pain through watching them express understanding because they've been there. Each of them hit hard but I think Hyunjin's imagery hit me the hardest. I only watch this video infrequently because it hits too hard. I mentally screamed when LeeKnow went off the ledge-too close to home. Like, seriously. No! I can't. I just can't. I know the message is really about overcoming that deep pain that no one talks about but I just can't. And yet, apparently I'm a masochist, at least a little. I stay. I am so STAY. I listen to SKZ nearly all day (and night too sometimes, Levanter is chill enough to let me fall asleep, doesn't put you to sleep but soothes the quiet, and is repeat friendly). Lonely St is on my playlist but it often skipped because I often can't handle it in that moment. SKZ is my happy place but these moments are important too. (After this, I'm going to listen to Time Out for a while...) So grateful to have SKZ in my life, so much I've never been able to find the words to describe what they mean to me.

I really don't care for ASMR, even Felix, but 4:25 is one of my favorite favorite clips often included in these compilation videos. So good. So hilarious, even more because it's not scripted, that's them being their wonderful selves.

The MV for Astronaut is fun but isn't one of my favorites, still good because everything SKZ touches is excellent, but not a favorite. It is because of the clip of Chan's room (ep.48) that I fell in love with the song and when I play it, I picture that video, most esp Felix going nuts with his fluffy hair. Love it! "I think we went too far," Chan says. "I think we hyped our song too much," Felix says. NOPE! So, not over-hyped. That hype is why I bought the song!!! I love Levanter. I'm less familiar with the Levanter video than most, but know it enough to watch parts of the video (and choreo) in my head when I listen to it. It's not a song that puts you to sleep, but it has a soothing feel to it (don't know how else to describe it). Sometimes it is my overnight music while I sleep. Most nights I need something low volume to soothe the silence and often this song on single repeat is perfect. (I'm careful, though, to not listen to it overnight too often because I don't want to subconsciously burn out and not enjoy it during the day---I need that, too! lol)

I love how Hyunjin just throws in the towel like that 3:05 And Chan... 4:21 he coughs to cover up his losing battle, then just lets go at the end 4:37 Not fair to use their own songs... That choreo is burned into their muscle memory, the subconscious doesn't care. There was no fighting Time Out, not me or them.
