Thanks for the instructional video Terry. I just got a new HsienMo guitar with the LR Baggs Anthem installed and didn’t really know what to do with it. Was almost going to stick an olive onto the stick and have a martini! You like the Blueridge then? It sounds pretty nice to me, they have a nice vintage look and, like my new guitar, are incredibly good value.

Phase is the direction the current is pushing the speakers… the sound guy would tell you :)

I went for the Blueridge two years ago. Love it. Rich resonant tone. Easy action and wider neck great for fingerpicking.

I have the same pickup. But my plastic tool it came with is not able to do any of the mic adjustment. It will not turn the adjusting screw anti-clockwise or clockwise. It's like it is too weak because it is plastic. Could it be that some kind of a steel screwdriver must be used.

Where is the TRS cable plugged into your guitar? I can’t see it. Or is the LR Bragg a Bluetooth pickup?

The Alvarez sounds flat compared to the Blueridge which sounds dynamic.

I like small body guitars. The blue ridge sounds a little better to my ears but that’s a big price jump. I’ve found blue ridge to be heavier made and Alvarez have good quality

Based onbwhat i a, hearing thevtaylor is way cleaner and crisper sounding. The collongs sounds cheep to be honest. Just my opinion.

A suggestion from a 65 year old guitarist. Try using your wrist more than your elbow when strumming. Your rhythm and feel will improve greatly. Kudos on the nice instruments. I'm considering the Taylor 724 ce Koa myself.

Both guitars over powered the microphone, I can't choose, but I like the thick sound of the dreadnought better.

Would have been good to have heard both guitars played in more than two open chords,also further up the neck,the Blueridge sounded far better to me,got a wider neck for fingerpicking -1 7/8”.

I thought you were a lefty until I realized Eastman on the headstock is backwards. Have you compared the double top to a standard top Eastman?
@geamax1 Жыл бұрын
I have. I own a DT30D And an E8D. DT30D is balanced all the way. E8D is very classic Dread mild scoop on middles more bass
@patricklundquist9869 Жыл бұрын
@@geamax1 Your new guitar just sustains forever. It only stopped when you muted the strings. I just picked up two Eastman dreads, E10D-TC (mahogany) and E20D-TC (rosewood), figuring I would decide which one I liked most and sell the other. You can probably guess how that worked out. The one I like the best is whichever one I am playing. Thermo-cured tops may eliminate years of break-in and give great open tones but it doesn't give you the impossibly long sustain. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of sustain, just nothing close to that double-top.

The C-100 will most likely sound awesome with a condenser microphone through an audio interface. Beautiful sounding guitar. This recording doesn't serve it justice but you can tell the quality of both guitars. Thanks for the demo.

Why does every Christian use a Taylor for church!!! Lol. You are wealthy clearly and have a ton of privilege to own such elegant instruments.

Get that CRT garbage outta here. Dude probably busted his butt his whole life and is retired and is enjoying the fruits of his labor. Also you have OOO Martin custom, you you aren’t hurting for a nice instrument either.

I agree with Ty B. What difference does it make what this guy's religion is, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, whatever... He owns a few really nice guitars, and he probably worked his ass of for them. Do you want everything handed to you for free, because you are feeling underprivileged? Puerto Rican Lives Matter? You're better off writing a letter to Joe Biden and Kalama Harris. They'll buy you a Collings, along with some food stamps.
