Thank you for this nice video. Can you tell us where we can find the Northen masked weaver and White-collared Oliveback with exact locations nearby Kibale forest? Thanks!

Andres you missed the endemic Darwin or Little Vermillion Flycatcher. Easily seen on volcano Sierra Negra near Puerto Villamil on Isabela Island. Cheers

Minute 11.10 Andres mentions the endemic Lava Gull snd mistakenly states that it feeds at night (wrong) it is our other endemic Gull the Swallow-tail Gull that feeds at night.

Great birding hotspots and a great excursion it seems. I was just in Australia for family vacation, although our budget not afford me a dedicated tour, I like to share 2 locations I visited as day trip and netted 45 birds: Oxley Creek common in Brisbane and Garigal N. Park in Sydney. However, l love your type tour I might return one day just for birding. Thanks again!

For me, this format is preferable to the one you used to use a few years ago. The ones with long slide shows and no video (other than the narrator in the corner) were easy to click away from. I watch these newer ones all the way through, and sometimes more than once.

Great video :) Thank you. Just curious, what part of April were you there ? I'll be there from April 24th through about May 2nd.... I'd like to be a week earlier, but at the end of my trip, I didn't want to be any earlier than late May to SE AZ... and only have 1 month...

Sam, for bird photography, do you find people have time on this tour to take bird photographs? I searched for birding with a camera and this video came up.

Very informative video and amazing bird photos! What camera and lens were you using for these photos? Do you organize bird watching tours? This year or next, I would like to do some bird photography in either Costa Rica or Ecuador. What months are the best to travel to Costa Rica for birding? Sorry too many questions.

i live and birdwatch in Taiwan for all of my life, and i also do some tour from time to time(local kids and family birding tour tho, very different from what you do), this is a great video a thing i may add feeding and call playback is not accepted by most local birders, is an auto disqualification in most competition, is illegal under multiple law, and people do get into trouble for doing it but it is very helpful for foreign birder and bird guide if you only have a few days, so if come to Taiwan, don't do it publicly or post photo on Taiwanese birding forum or group, will get a lot of heat if you do

Really well done video or an excellent tour! I have been birding in Costa Rica 7 times, and now how very skilled you were in finding that selection of birds and capturing them so well in photos and describing it so well!

Daniel, humans carelessly moving the exotic species around the globe example the Black Bass was the main cause in your Grebe species going extinct. All species of Northern Americas black Bass are serious predator on surface dwelling prey and gorge on water foul chicks. Ultimately Homo sapien over population is the cause for every problem you have as an individual encounter daily well as for every other living species Flora, Fauna or Funga on the planet. The prime example the deforestation of your lovely counties West coastal forest to raise cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, vegetables or what ever is the direct cause of the loss of forest and its precious species in order to feed the mass number of Humans. We have the same problem in our country USA. Heck it is almost ever countries problem. Jim Rodgers

Very interesting! You missed one of the premier birding locations (close to Frog Heaven) called Tico Rainforest B&B. Victor has documented over 220 different species on his property and has set up a wonderful photographic site on the balcony of his house. I have no personal connection to the site, but have visited here every year for the past 10 years.

I loved the wildlife of Madagascar as a kid. It wasn't until years later that I found out that the people of Madagascar don't have African roots but are Indo-malayan which is a mind blower and an incredible nautical feat.
