Can't see how you are doing the head

The two sides are attached by the gusset which starts just under the chin and follows the head pieces around. Much like a stuffed toy. Does that help?

We use Commercial Clay APC although we are just switching back to Spencroft SSB 8 as it was cheaper when we put our last order in. We like both types although my partner Emma prefers the SSB8 for sculpting. 😁
