She isn't going to live long. Her cage door should always be locked closed. They shouldn't be free to roam especially on the floor. That's an accident waiting to happen. You don't seem to be very experienced with owning a bird. Poor thing.

@@Followthechariot thank you for your concern. Yes I'm a novice and not experienced. Your concern has been recommended by another viewer and have followed it since. I will however leave her door open when I'm home so she can fly around..For me, I think that's important.

@@wh0a12 Only 1st pair I bought was not tammed but their offspring sat on my shoulders and play with my hairs n ears etc. Even I can grab them while sitting on their eggs. (normally birds r very aggressive in this state) but they never did anything

He's progressing, slowly but he's getting there. I'm not sure what he's been through but he seemed very frightened. Worst in the beginning. I'm guessing he wasn't treated nicely. He's from a pet store so yeah.

@@Skylemon2021 thank you for asking, he's progressing very slowly but it's okay I'm not in a rush haha. Mellows been a great help in making him feel comfortable. He spends most of his time at the front instead of the back of his cage now so he's less scared. I just need to be more patient.

You clip their wings and lock the bird in when sun is out and no wonder Mellow hasn't fully bonded with you 4 months in.

Previous owner clipped her wings. Mellow is tamed and she trusts me. Wollem is the one that is not tamed, yet.

@@wh0a12 Her wings should have grown back by now given the timeframe. Sure she is 'tamed' but that is not the word I used. She has not bonded with you. Bird owners can tell.

@@Young-ep8ik Her wings are growing. I wouldnt know how to clip them otherwise. Thank you about the bond information, now I have some research to do. I think maybe the reason why were not "bonded" is because of my busy schedule. But that's fine I like how we are now.
