I had a set like this, idk if it was exactly the same but looks pretty similar. Ended up returning it because I feel like the quality just wasnt there for the price, I had issues with ratchets getting stuck in directions, skipping their gears and sockets with heat treatment issues. Also, I kinda agree with you, its a bit weird to have such a comprehensive set where they give you multiple versions of the same sockets, but still they skip sizes? Thats just annoying.

Yes. The 20mm is like a four leaf clover. I checked several brands and none of them have it. I only work on smaller vehicles so for me this brand is working so far, but on tougher larger vehicles I can see this set having trouble. The main reason being the 72 tooth ratchet handle. As opposed to a 42 tooth handle, the 72 tooth handle has smaller teeth. The more teeth they put in, the smaller the teeth have to be, and the more fragile they are. I still keep around my 42 tooth handle for harder jobs since those teeth are larger.

Very poor comparison. Indoors at very short distance with dramatic fps difference, i.e., 1200 fps vs. 830 fps is ridiculous. The sound meter is too close to the pellet trap and picks up the pellet impacting the trap. Needs to be done at a much longer distance for a better comparison.

I thought it was tight as hell on my phone also lol I thought it would eventually warp my phone or something but after about 1-2 weeks of using it the springs got a lot more loose and fits fine now without squeezing the life out of my phone

it really shows you are not a mechanic, if you use the deep sockets you don't need a 1 inch extension, it's better to have too many tools than to not have the tool and you have to stop and have to go back up the stairs to get the tool and the more you work with tool and understand what they are used for the better you'll appreciate having so many tools, I think you should have waited to give a review on a set of tools you don't even know how to use but don't worry you keep at it and you will learn

@@XLTJeff I made this video because I was surprised at the weight of this tool box. I only want buyers to know what they are getting into. Some people are old and others are disabled. I'm a little of both. These tools feel a lot heavier than 38 lbs. More like 50 lbs. I know a plumber who sometimes works on tall buildings. This is something you don't want to take 5 or 6 floors up the stairs. I'm not returning these tools as they are fantastic.

He is also not a real mechanic if he downgrades a ratchet for not being able to put a pipe on it, learn what a "breaker bar" is and how to use it, instead of over stressing your ratchets. A cheap breaker bar is only $10-$20. BTW SAE inch tools are very handy for snow blowers. Tractors, farm equipment, lag bolts vintage cars and home plumbing heating and electrical work.
@skywind007
@skywind007 2 күн бұрын
@@robc8468 Sometimes you don't have a straight path to put a breaker bar in place of a ratchet. Just two days ago I had to use this tactic were I placed a pipe on the tip of the ratchet handle but did not put it all the way in since there were hoses and what not in the way. There was an angle between the ratchet handle and the pipe. It would have been impossible to do with a breaker bar unless you can somehow bend the breaker bar. I appreciate your input but my car's engine is very compressed were you have very little space to put anything in, and seldom have a straight path to any bolts. As far as SAE sockets, I agree with you that many vehicles and farm vehicles use this. For anyone with such vehicles this tool set will be great. No problem.

I normally use a drain pan container that catches the bolt if it falls in, but for this experiment I wanted to keep the old fluid so I used an open pan that I could wipe away the previous oil so as to not contaminate the one being collected. As it turned out, I didn't need the old fluid. As of today, I'm still driving this car and it's running perfectly.

If you care to learn, read this... So your transmission fluid has to act like 3 other fluids in your car. It has to act like your engine oil (lubricating each component) It has to act like engine coolant (remove heat from the system by constant circulation/ conduction) And most importantly!! It has to act like your brake fluid ( auto trans work by hydraulic valves being moved to force high fluid pressure to hold brakes & clutches) So your ATF if working hard to make all this happen. Your transmission is constantly chipping away in there, whether it be small parts of the valve body or the brakes & clutches sanding away. Most of that fluid gets picked up and suspended within the ATF & is then carried to a filter, But if you never change the fluid. This debris in the ATF & filter becomes too much for it to hold. And you will have trapped/ stuck debris throughout the auto trans. So, if you completely flush the system. You can potentially loosen the stuck debris, which can makes its way to getting stuck in an important valve/ cooling passage. Which will possibly grenade the entire ATF system, in turn the transmission itself! So you have 2 options for high mileage ATF, leave it. ( Wait for it to slowly sludge up until it grenades anyways) Or, if possible, change the ATF filter. Drain & refill portions of the ATF capacity over mileage intervals, SLOWLY removing the debris that is within the system. Its worth trying the 2nd option, because its inevitable for the auto trans to give out
@skywind007

Thank you for the info. I plan on doing that during the fall because the heat affects me. I forgot to mention in the video that my particular vehicle does not have a serviceable filter, only a mesh. If you try to take the mesh out, you will have to remove the valve body to put it back in. So anyone with a 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8L specifically is advised not to remove the mesh. Most other vehicles should have that filter remove and replace as they are cheap on Amazon.

its all about how much friction material is suspended in the fluid. if all the friction material has completely worn off of the clutch packs and is suspended in the fluid. then when you change that fluid, the friction material goes with it. so the transmission will no longer be able to hold gears. a simple way to check is the color of the fluid. the closer to clear red like that new fluid the better; not much friction material. if it is very dark and smells like nasty burnt butt cheeks; then there is a lot of friction material in the fluid. in that case changing it may be risky. but it really it all comes down to how much material is left on the clutch packs.

I’ve changed (and cooler return flushed) transmission fluid in multiple 150k+ mile cars without issues. I believe it is good for the valve body to get fresh fluid/additives in there. Yes it could impact clutches but if they are gone, they are gone. If red fluid a cooler return flush is ok, if brown/black best to drain and fill.

Tim from Canada I have this the Alcatel flip phone these are a piece of garbage did you know Rogers CELL PHONE Canada? They only provide one kind of flip phone and this is the Alcatel they want over $200 for this piece of shit and it is a piece of shit. First day I got it the light on the front Bert out went back to Rogers to tell them why this was can I get a new one? No because you were on a two-year contract. You have to wait this out well then three weeks later it starts going funny on me. These phones are a piece of shit. Did you know you can walk into any phone store and Apple has at least 12 different kinds of phones you can get 10 different kinds of Android phones but if you want just a flip phone in Canada and with Rogers, you have to buy Alcatel these are a piece of shit. Why don’t you provide more did you not want me to tell the truth they are asking me to edit my comments they are afraid that what I’m saying is the truth I may have used a few swearwords and told you the truth about what is really going on now. $200 is insane for this flip phone. I live in Texas and this phones normally cost from $15 to $25 if you buy it locked, and often can be bought refurbished for $10 locked. And here we often have a 15 day period where we can return the phone for whatever reason. I don't know anything about Canada since I have never been there. I don't work for Alcatel or any company. I only give my opinion on products that I buy. I don't censor anyone and I will leave your comment for anybody to read even though KZfaq lets channel owners delete comments at will. My review of this product was based on the Tracfone price. I would agree that this flip phone is not worth $200. If you look at my video you will see the rudimentary camera footage, which is 5MP lens with no flash if I remember it correctly. Watch at 26:58. I can't imagine anybody paying $200 for a phone with a 5MP camera with no flash. That's what this reviews are for.
