Meanwhile, actual aliens while watching this movie: "What? Why would we breach the planet's atmosphere to make our attack runs? Wouldn't we just bombard their cities from orbit?" "Oh, parking right over the capital buildings of the various heads of state? Isn't that a bit cheeky?" "Wait, the retro-ionic cannons don't fire beams! They fire antimatter pulses, which...pretty much do what they did here. Ok, I'll let that one pass." "Why move our destroyers all over the planet? We've taken out all of their major cities and deleted about a quarter of their population...why not just use the fighters to take out what's left, and use the rest for livestock?" "Oh really? We really would allow a fighter that's been lost for decades, with a prefix code that's been retired for about that long, into our mothership without first performing a system and bio-scan?" "A computer virus? How did a binary package even interface with our quantonium systems? It requires a 4th dimensional prefix header before even being recognized as a legitimate connection! I'm not even going to ask about the physical connection between their silicon-based processor and the quantum-net interface." "Hoooold up--even with the shields inoperable, the residual antimatter annihilation vortices surrounding the retro-ionic cannons during power-up would destroy that human aircraft before it was able to impact on them!" "Oh, so shooting a missile into the command pod automatically releases their ship from lockdown? Like shooting a door button with a projectile weapon automatically closes the door in that other movie?" "Huh?? That was a primitive 2-stage fusion nuclear warhead, and our mothership is about a quarter the size of their moon. How did such a tiny explosion immediately turn our mothership into a temporary star? The main reactor isn't even anywhere near the command pod." "So there were no survivors at all? Every destroyer got destroyed, using the same method that wouldn't have worked, and all of us got annihilated? Really?" "Shut up, Frank." "What, I'm just saying. Maybe we need to teach these humans how our technology works and then they'll make another movie with more accurate technical specifications and a better plotline."

U should know how juiced McGregor is by seeing his bulkier and more ripped then Gyllenhaal, and that dude is a notorious roid junkie for combat movies.

クワイエットプレイスのクリーチャーとかもそうだが、米映画のクリーチャーはそのサイズに対してパワーが強すぎる。その割にはライフルやショットガンでも死ぬくらい耐久性は低い

Wow…after 40 yrs NOW I get it, this is about the Israeli lobby in full control of the US to serve Israel needs…the US is under Israeli occupation! Many American Jews are first to realize this & revolt, it’s about Zionism & not Judaism.

Back in the 1800s a handle on a casket was called a "huckle" they were designed for the Pall Bearers to hold when walking a casket during a funeral. Pretty sure he says "huckle bearer" although it does sound like berry. I still think it's bearer.

He doesn’t say huckleberry. He says huckle bearer. A huckle is the handle of a casket and the bearer carries the casket.
