Why would this scene be deleted? Jesus being resurrected from the dead would have been the best scene in the whole movie! Just so beautiful! Brought me tears of joy! Robert Powell by far is the best at playing him. No doubt about it! I was raised in the Catholic Church but after some years I strayed from Jesus and the church. I did things I'm not proud of as we all have. I cried and asked for forgiveness for what I had done and was forgiven. Having him back in my life made me a better human being. I couldn't be without him. Praise Jesus our Lord and Savior!

Robert powell played the role well and is a beautiful looking man as is our lord, even though he is a more european blue eyed jesus. The last words are haunting and comforting

The way Jesus says Don't be afraid I am with you till the end of time has such a profound affect on the viewer that it immediately takes all my fears and worries away. As if a father saying it to his son.
