this series is a huge part of my earliest memories from childhood<3 it made such an impression on me that i still carry it at 40 y/o. <3 i loved/love everything about this show, but the one thing i admire most was the heart and soul it had.

Honestly Ashley and The Starlights would have been such a spin-off especially if they focus on a grown up Ashley and her band following in the footsteps of the holograms and learning how to be stars as well maybe even have their own rivalry with a rival group.

I will always come back to watch Jem and the Holograms. I could be 90 and still watching this show and I’d even do it with my grandkids. I was born in the 2000s and this series could never compare to so many others from the generation despite being from 1980s ❤

I knew that despite being a Misfit, Stormer is not pure evil or dangerous in the slightest. I believe that she only acted the way she did in the first season and other episodes because she's still misguided on what it means to be part of the crowd when it comes to love and acceptance. Even if she wanted to leave, the rest of the Misfits realize they are nothing without her, if only they learned to treat her right and be kinder to each other. Maybe there wouldn't be such bad rivalry between them and the Holograms.
