Alot of people don't understand how difficult it is to win the triple crown. When you have so many really really good horses at any given time to take one horse that stands above all the rest takes a very special horse...you have to have all of the Stars aligned and then you have to have a horse like Justify than can run like he did to win the triple crown...the odds are basically like winning the lottery....and Justify had all of the elements of a champion...just an amazing horse.....🐎🐎🐎

Justify was DISQUALIFIED and placed last in this race. It took 6 years to work through the legal system. He was positive for both Hyoscine & Atropine. He had no Hyoscyamine, which confirms it was NOT from Jimson weed. Jimson weed contains all 3 tropane alkaloids; in all stages of its lifecycle; and in all parts of the plant. All 3 are available in injectable form.

Wow that was insane. I remember watching this race live while I was at the track in Saratoga. Not only did victor not go to the whip he had him under a tight hold the entire stretch lol. What a horse.

All the other athletic contests--the Super Bowl, World Series, etc.--have a winner every year. But the Triple Crown is so incredibly rare that it's only been done 13 times. Yeah, I was jumping up and down, just like when Secretariat won. God bless those fantastic horses. I love them all.

Reminds me of Secretariat a lot, though better yet in some ways.
