When I was living in Taiwan in 1973 the first time I heard one of these rice poppers go off I thought it was a 12 gauge shotgun. I heard the whistle then BOOM. I thought who the hell is firing a shotgun right here in town?

It looks like a very sacrificial job. It must be hard to do a job like that all day, every day and maybe earning very little money, but you can see that this Man does his job with love. The products looks tasty and perfect, way more better than an industrial one for sure !

Brings back childhood memories. An old man would push a cart to our neighborhood. all the kids would run out when they hear that loud bang.

Imagine if you could witness this man doing his job from a butterfly or ant perspective? You wouldn't see an old man making treats you would see a God controlling a volcano then making mana from heaven as the crumbs fell to earth feeding your colony 😮 You would have whole systems of religion owing respect to the God of Volcanic Tasty Treats
