You need to have the engine running or the electrovalves will be closed. If you put 12V on the valves it might work until the evaporator freezes.

why?, just buy old lpg tank and remove pipe from inside and it will act as gas bottle

Hi, I have an DELONGHI ECAM, I fixed the clogged tubes but when i take the infuser out and clean and placed it back, the machine keep displaying "INSERT THE INFUSER ASSEMBLY" and no matter what i do, machine keep displaying the same message. Any idea why??

This is exactly what my issue was. Look for play on the infuser carriage. If there is play, disassemble machine and tighten spindle nut

Hi! I have same machine but the issue might be different, it doesn’t respond to commands, if is plugged in, is playing alone: switching on and off, water comes out and in the end I cannot make any coffee as buttons are not responding to orders. What that might be? Thank you!

here is a dumb question -can one use natural gas used for cooking etc [ methanes?] instead of lpg,thinking of adapting the filling nozzle to be able to fill from tank from hardware shop....

yes but pressure must stay in range for lpg so you can fill tantkonly up to 20 bars

If your still around got a old ford on fuels and a gastec LPG had to replace the fuel tank due to contamination the sender unit was stuck half way and the positive was on the resistance line always half way since I disconnected and accident had on two occasions the system on in on position the gas was leaking from the pump since the fuel pump was not hooked in once replaced the gas relay is working after saturated and turned to off still runs fuels or gas and you can switch via the switch added gas line set??. enquiry on why!.

Hello. I cannot remove the transmission before the infuser is stuck and I cannot manually remove it. Is there a way to still remove transmission?

Sounds like a sensor (more like a switch pressed by infuser carriage moving too far along its axis of travel) is not triggering. I simulated this behavior while troubleshooting my ECAM which had trouble with sensor counting rotations and refusing to work after self diagnosis cycle.

Thank you for the video! I have problem with milk not working/frothing or sucking into the plastic straw. The water seems to be working fine from the water sprout, and do get hot. I got no continuity though, on one of the two white temperatures sensors 318C, that you showed in the video 5:44 timeline. Anyway I’ve ordered a new one of those. Sadly, could not find the exact one to match my model number. It looks the same, so I hope it works. Question: I can not find the exact solenoid valve that match with the one I have. The numbers varies between 5301VN10P46AIX and mine 5301VN27P50APX. Are they working differently or is it fine buying even when different number? Both for Delonghi of course. I wonder if it’s possible to order a similar one but not the exact correct model number. Do you know if it will work with a different one or you know where I can find the exact one? Gear I have: Machine - ECAM23.460.B Solenoid Valve (top one, no sound/hummeling) - 5301VN27P50APX Thermostat - 467E // Tf 318C // 155431078N Thank you a lot.

In my machine the piston of the infuser doesn't reach the upper position but stop at 3-4 millimiters from the top: the result is that a part of the coffee ground remain on the filter. Who know which is the problem?

Infuser may not be assembled correctly. Make sure that when the arm is in the down-most position, the piston is flush with the infuser housing. If not, take it apart and re-assemble with the gears lined up properly.

Hi. I have used this LPG for 1 year. I found something unexpected that using LPG has more fuel consumption compare to gasoline. At the MID if using LPG 10/100 km liter/km. But if I use gasoline is 6/100 km liter/km. Is it normal? Due to Sales engineer this normal.

Fuel consumption on LPG is always higher than on gasoline. The difference depends on the type of engine, the type of LPG installation and the calibration. A difference in consumption like that seems pretty high..

Lpg has less power than petrol thats y its been used more by the engine. People use lpg bcz its cheaper than petrol.

@@MrNaeemkhan000 LPG has 112 octane so should make more power than petrol but i guess you need higher compression to take advantage say around 12-14:1 ratio which most petrol engine are not that is why the power is down on lpg.....yes it is cheaper or use to be in New Zealand

@@kermets wrong conclusions: lpg octane number depends on ratio of propane and butane and if it is 50/50 octane number is about 104, and any fuel with higher octane number does not have more energy, so no more power, compression ratio is in direct connection with power and efficiency, no matter of fuel energy, if is higher compression, it needs fuel with higher octane numb, but it can have same energy but it will have more power, and power on lpg can drops because gas is overheated to reduce octane number to prevent valve burning, so in intake lpg has bigger volume than it would have petrol, but if you adjust spark plug advance and keep lpg temperature low, you can get same or more power than on petrol

Not really, you'd still need gasoline to start and reach operating temps, specially on cold weather when the pressure can drop.

There are only LPG powered cars usually Korean Hyundai,KIA that use injection in liquid phase in intake manifold runners . So it’s possible . The difference between LPG and gasoline is that the first one evaporates much better at low temperatures and doesn’t require the same air/fuel mixture enrichment as with gasoline on cold starts . So in order to avoid fouling of the spark plugs you have to trick the engine ECU by manipulating the temperature sensor readings only during the heating up period of the engine .

Ik heb een bmw 535i op Lpg, alleen heb het raare probleem dat wanneer ik mijn kachel op minder als 32 graden zet de auto niet lang op lpg rijd ( hoog uit 10min ) daarna slaat die over op benzine, zolang ik em op 32 grade heb is er niks aan de hand, toevallig een iedee waar dit aan kan liggen

Ik denk een warmte probleem, als je de kachel aanzet wordt er een gedeelte vd motorwarmte afgevoerd de cabine in. Ik zou beginnen bij het uitlezen van je gasinstallatie. Dan kun je vaak wel zien of dat inderdaad de oorzaak is.

Ik heb een lpg in mijn 307 ingebouwd sinds gisteren gaat het tanken extreem langzaam. Enig idee waaraan het kan liggen?

Verstopping in het vulpunt? Rijdt u met een stofkap? De traditionele bajonet vulpunten zijn in elk geval voorzien van een terugslagklep welke verstopt kan raken.

Bedankt voor de snelle reactie Ik rijd inderdaad met een stofkap. Waaraan kan ik zien of mijn terugslagklep verstopt is geraakt? Als het goed is heb ik er 2 1 bij de tank en 1 bij de de bajonet aansluiting. Ik denk dat die laatste verstopt is geraakt. Ik ga maandag naar een garage om ernaar te laten kijken.

@@hassanamghar3031 Bajonet aansluiting kan je eventueel perslucht op zetten (als hij van de auto af is). Alleen weet ik de openingsdruk niet. Ik denk niet al te hoog.

Don't think so, pressure on those injectors is usually way higher than on normal petrol systems

Mooie uitleg! Kan je ook een filmpje maken over wat er moet worden aangepast tijdens de inbouw? Wat moet er bijvoorbeeld worden aangepast aan in Ecu ? Moet de brandstof pomp worden uitgeschakeld? Wat voor een aanpassingen zijn er nog meer nodig bij een moderne auto ? Alvast bedankt!
